It must also account for cable length, installation method, voltage drop, fault protection and the capacity already available at the property. A holiday let or commercial site may have a different operating pattern from a privately used garden tub.<\/p>\n<p>Controls matter too. An electric heater should not continue heating without the water conditions required by its manufacturer. Pumps and automatic equipment need a documented restart behaviour after a power interruption.
