For a couple, a single regular user or a holiday property where occupancy is deliberately limited, that shape can make better use of a narrow terrace or a small garden corner than a large circular vessel.<\/p>\n

The model holds approximately 1,000 litres in the documented configuration. That matters because every litre has to be filled, heated, treated and eventually drained. The lower volume can make a two-person routine more manageable, but it does not create a universal heat-up time: starting water temperature, ambient conditions, cover, insulation, heater condition, fuel quality and operating technique all change the result.<\/p>\n

What the base configuration contains<\/h2>\n

The water-retaining body is a shaped polypropylene liner. Closed polypropylene benches define the two bathing positions and reduce unused space below the seats. A rounded timber rim finishes the upper edge, A-type wooden steps provide the planned entry route, and the selected exterior timber forms the visible cladding. A wooden lid is listed with the model; the order should state exactly which cover and insulation elements are included.<\/p>\n

The wood-fired configuration uses an external BFTS-50 heater shown at 22 kW in the model drawing. Locating the stove outside the bathing shell preserves the internal seating space and keeps the fire-loading point separate from the water. The heater, connecting pipes, stove door, chimney and safe working clearance must still be included in the complete site footprint. With the external wood heater, warming the water is an active operating routine. Fill to the required level before lighting, establish the circulation path specified in the instructions, use dry suitable fuel and supervise the fire throughout the heat-up. The external position keeps the full oval liner available to bathers and makes the stove accessible without reaching across the water.<\/p>\n

An optional 6 kW electric heater is listed for this model. It can add repeatable temperature control where the site has a correctly designed supply. The technical sheet documents 6 kW single- and three-phase arrangements using legacy nominal voltages; the final UK voltage, phase, cable, isolation, protective devices, controller and installer responsibility must be agreed in writing for the ordered equipment. Higher 9\u201318 kW heater options used on larger TimberIN families are not offered on this compact product page.<\/p>\n

Do not buy the tub from an advertised number of heating hours. For a useful project estimate, provide the expected cold-water temperature, target temperature, normal season, selected heater, insulation and cover.
