Panorama for 4

TimberIN Nordic Barrel Panorama™

8,288

TimberIN Nordic Barrel Panorama™. Nordic Barrel Panorama is a fixed 2800 mm Thermowood sauna for buyers who value a broad glazed outlook more than a long list of shell sizes. The barrel form creates an intimate curved room, while the panoramic frontage visually opens it to the garden. Because length and exterior timber are already defined, the important project decisions are orientation, privacy, heater package, bench layout, foundation, electrical or flue route and safe delivery to the site. Barrel Panorama is a fixed 2.8-metre Thermowood Luxe sauna for 2–4 people, approximately 2.35 m in diameter and 800 kg. A full glass front, ergonomic benches, ventilation, 570 mm porch, glass door, 50% panoramic glazing and black roof are included. Select either Harvia M3 wood heat or the included 9 kW Cilindro electric heater; factory-built delivery needs unloading machinery.

Product Description

Panoramic glazing in a defined Thermowood barrel · Made-to-order outdoor sauna

TimberIN Nordic Barrel Panorama™: a 2800 mm sauna built around light and the view

The glass is not an accessory; it is the reason for the room

Panoramic glazing changes both atmosphere and thermal behaviour. It connects bathers with a landscape, pool or private garden and can make the compact barrel feel more generous, yet glass loses heat differently from an insulated timber wall and requires thoughtful privacy. Thermowood gives the curved exterior a rich, consistent character and should be maintained according to the supplied finish. The 2800 mm length fixes the broad scale of the room, allowing attention to shift towards sightlines, comfortable bench use and a heater selected for the real glazed volume.

The compact Luxe dimensions behind the panoramic front

Nordic Barrel Panorama is not the standard barrel with a window option. Its sheet fixes a 2–4-person Luxe model at roughly 2.35 metres in diameter, 2.8 metres long and 800 kg, with ergonomic benches and a substantial glass frontage already included. The 570 mm porch is part of the total length and provides a useful threshold, while the glass increases heat loss and privacy considerations compared with a timber end wall.

Wood-fired atmosphere or electric simplicity in the same fixed room

Harvia M3 gives the traditional visible fire, independent of a high-power electric heater and a hands-on heating ritual. It brings logs, ash, chimney inspection and larger clearances. The 9 kW Cilindro is the cleaner routine, with an integrated control and a large stone column that can give softer or sharper steam depending on where water is cast. It requires a properly designed electrical supply and has no firelight. Because the room and Thermowood are fixed, heater method—not size—is the principal product decision.

Most of the Panorama specification is already included

The ergonomic benches, ventilation, porch, door, glazing and roof are not optional upgrades here, so the quotation should itemise them rather than rely on photographs. The buyer mainly chooses heat. A timber heater fence is worth confirming for either route where guests may move near hot surfaces. The large glass needs regular cleaning and careful privacy/orientation planning. Factory assembly preserves the curved shell and glazing alignment but requires a crane or telehandler and a route wider than the nominal garden gate.

What the current configurator identifies as included

Already included: Already included: (1) Ergonomic benches as in pictures; (2) Full front glass; (3) Ventilation; (4) Outside porch area of 57 cm; (5) Entrance glass doors; (6) Panoramic window (glass area 50%); (7) Roof color: Black tiles

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Wood burning Harvia heaters

  • Wood-fired stove Harvia M3 + chimney and stones

Advantages: Harvia wood-burning heaters provide the traditional fire-and-stone sauna experience. M3 suits the smaller listed rooms, while 20 PRO serves the larger range; SL versions move log loading outside, keeping bark and ash out of the hot room.

Electric Harvia heaters

  • Cilindro 9 kW (PC90) with an integrated control unit (already included)

Advantages: A Cilindro electric heater offers repeatable thermostat control, no indoor fuel storage and a straightforward start-up routine. The listed 9 or 11 kW choices allow output to follow the actual heated sauna-room volume.

Glazing is the largest variable in real warm-up

The sheet does not publish a guaranteed heat-up. Although both recommended heaters suit the stated compact room, the panoramic glazing loses more heat than a timber wall and outdoor temperature matters. The M3’s 16.5 kW nominal output is not directly comparable with the electric heater’s 9 kW because combustion and transfer vary. Commission with the door closed and ventilation correctly set, then record a realistic routine. Do not reduce required ventilation simply to chase a faster number.

Frame a view without exposing the session

Walk the site at the times the sauna will be used and check what can be seen from paths, neighbouring windows and evening-lit interiors. Orient the panorama towards the intended outlook while avoiding strong unwanted glare where possible. Prepare a level base that supports the curved shell and keeps water away from the lower timber. Confirm the complete delivery route, door access and heater service. Electrical supply or chimney work, ventilation and clearances should be designed from the final heater data, with enough room left to clean the glazing safely.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.
