TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel

From: 2,683

TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel. Nordic Compact Snorkel is intended for smaller groups and gardens where a separate external stove would take up valuable space. Its AISI 316 snorkel heater sits within the tub, with a hybrid wood-and-electric option available for owners who want additional temperature support. Several exterior timbers shape the finished appearance. Choose the size with the protected heater zone in mind, because nominal diameter and usable bathing room are not the same measurement. The linked compact drawing records 3–4 bathers, 1,200 litres, a 1,550 mm inner and 1,770 mm outer diameter, 960/1,050 mm inner/outer height and about 150 kg dry weight. AISI 316 snorkel wood heat or hybrid support and four exterior timbers are live, with included stairs, heater fence, paddle and wooden lid plus optional insulation, massage, filtration, LEDs and smart control.

Product Description

Compact wood heat with the stove inside the tub · Made-to-order outdoor hot tub

TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel: a smaller-group model built around snorkel heating

A self-contained outline for intimate bathing

Keeping the heater in the water creates a compact installation and avoids exposed connecting pipework between tub and stove. It is a practical arrangement for a sheltered terrace or smaller garden, provided the loss of some internal room is accepted. The protective guard and chimney become visible parts of the bathing environment and must remain safely positioned. A hybrid configuration adds electrical support to the wood fire, which may suit frequent users, but it requires correctly specified controls and supply rather than a casual outdoor socket.

A true 3–4-person shell with a known 1,200-litre load

Nordic Compact Snorkel has a more tightly defined brief than the larger Wellness Basic product. Its technical sheet sets out 1,550 mm internal diameter, 1,200 litres and 3–4 bathers. The 1,770 mm external diameter remains manageable for many gardens, but the 960 mm water-side height and 150 kg dry shell still demand proper access and a filled-load foundation. Capacity should be judged after allowing for the snorkel heater and guard.

The choice is simple: pure snorkel heat or hybrid support

Choose the AISI 316 snorkel-only build when compact wood-fired use and minimal external equipment are the point of the model. Choose hybrid when regular schedules, holding temperature or frost management justify an electrical circuit as well as the fire. Hybrid adds convenience but not simplicity. Spruce keeps the exterior light and traditional; Thermowood darkens and stabilises the look; larch and oak add density and cost. None of those timbers changes the 1,200-litre water-side specification.

Compact does not mean maintenance-free

The included wooden lid, A-type stairs, paddle and heater-side fence create a usable base package. Wall and bottom insulation make sense for a small shell because they protect the advantage of lower water volume. Air massage is the lighter spa addition; hydromassage adds stronger jets and more plumbing. Filtration helps retain water between sessions, while two LEDs are usually proportionate and four give a brighter effect. A heater lid and chimney guard improve separation but do not remove the need for close supervision.

What the current configurator identifies as included

Already included: (1) "A" type wooden stairs; (2) Wooden fence – drink holder in front of the heater; (3) Wooden paddle (4) Wooden lid and wooden round sil

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Insulation

  • Wall insulation
  • Bottom insulation

Advantages: Wall and bottom insulation reduce heat loss from the water vessel and are particularly useful for frequent use, exposed sites and electric temperature holding.

SPA

  • Air bubble massage system
  • Hydro massage system
  • Sand filtration system with big wooden cover box
  • 2 LED
  • 4 LED (Recommended for 180 – 220 cm models)

Advantages: Air massage gives a gentle whole-tub effect, hydromassage provides firmer targeted jets, filtration supports retained-water use and LEDs improve evening visibility and atmosphere.

Smart SPA equipment add-ons (WiFi signal required)

  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for air massage
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for water massage system
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for sand filter
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for electric heater (enables scheduled control, ON/OFF)

Advantages: App control can schedule electric support and make filtration, air massage or hydromassage easier to prepare before a planned soak, with separate control applied only to the systems selected.

Inside color

  • White (RAL 9001)
  • Blue (RAL 5012)
  • Gray (RAL 7015)

Advantages: Liner colour lets the visible bathing shell coordinate with the garden and can make the water appear lighter, deeper or more neutral without changing the tub geometry.

Metal parts

  • Ash shovel and rake
  • Metal fence on the chimney (heat protection)
  • Stainless steel cover on the heater

Advantages: A chimney guard reduces accidental contact risk, a heater lid controls access around the firebox, and dedicated metal tools make ash handling and routine stove care more orderly.

Water release type

  • Bottom water drain with a stopper (included)
  • External water tap
  • External water tap + Quick adapter for garden hose set (12.5mm & 15mm)

Advantages: An external tap gives better control over discharge, while the quick hose adaptor helps route water away from foundations, neighbours and soft landscaping.

A lower-volume wood-fired routine

At about 1,200 litres, Nordic Compact has less thermal mass than most family tubs, but its sheet still gives no guaranteed number of hours. TimberIN’s general manual describes about 8°C per hour for a 2,000-litre example and a broad 2–3 hours in warm or 4–6 hours in cold conditions. Use dry fuel, keep the cover on, maintain the heater’s required water level and never drain while metalwork is hot. The hybrid option can support holding, but its real rate depends on the selected electric output.

Measure comfort after allowing for the heater

Consider the body sizes and number of people who will use the tub most often, then view the selected diameter as a complete interior that includes the heater and guard. Position the firebox for safe loading from outside and keep the chimney away from roofs, branches and guest circulation. Confirm access for delivery, the filled base load, a controlled drainage route and space to remove ash or service equipment. If hybrid heating is selected, coordinate the electrical work with the final control specification before the tub arrives.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.

Questions about TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel

What heaters choices are shown for TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel?

Heaters choices currently shown are Hybrid heating (wood+electric); Snorkel stainless steel heater, 316 steel chemical resistant. Availability and valid combinations are controlled by the live configurator and confirmed in the final written order.

Does the displayed price include every option for TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel?

What should be confirmed before delivery of TimberIN Nordic Compact™ Snorkel?

Choose the normal occupancy and shell size first; nominal capacity is not a comfort guarantee for every body size. Select heater position and fuel after checking usable seating, firebox access, chimney route and any electrical supply. Confirm delivery access, a level load-bearing base, safe filling and drainage, and the intended winter operating routine. Final dimensions, included equipment and site responsibilities should be confirmed before production or dispatch.
