TimberIN Nordic Oculus™

12,290

TimberIN Nordic Oculus™. Nordic Oculus is a fixed-size spruce garden sauna measuring 3100 × 2100 × 2620 mm, distinguished by its round panoramic window. The established footprint makes it easier to judge against a terrace or boundary, while the circular opening gives the interior a focused garden view without turning the whole façade into glass. Planning centres on orientation, privacy, foundation, delivery access, heater services and the final door and bench arrangement rather than selecting between many shell sizes. Nordic Oculus is a fixed spruce sauna measuring 3,100 × 2,100 × 2,620 mm. The live heat choice is a Harvia Spirit 9 kW with remote Xenio controller (listed as included) or four 1.3 kW Vitamy infrared units. No product-specific sheet is linked, so occupancy, internal cubic volume, glass area, bench geometry, insulation, dry weight, supply and whether infrared replaces or supplements the Spirit must be confirmed.

Product Description

A defined spruce cabin with a circular outlook · Made-to-order outdoor sauna

TimberIN Nordic Oculus™: architectural certainty around a distinctive round window

One carefully placed window shapes the whole room

The Oculus window behaves more like a framed landscape element than a conventional glazed wall. From inside, it concentrates the view and introduces daylight while preserving more enclosed timber surface around the hot room. Outside, it gives the spruce cabin a recognisable identity without relying on a fully transparent façade. The fixed dimensions produce a substantial but readable garden building, allowing bench positions and sightlines to be considered against a real envelope. Spruce keeps the architecture warm and pale, with natural outdoor weathering that should be managed through the approved finish and good site drainage.

A fixed 3.1-metre shell with two different heat experiences

Oculus combines a known external envelope and spruce exterior with a choice between a remotely controlled 9 kW stone heater and four infrared panels. Spirit supports conventional sauna bathing with heated stones and water; Vitamy gives direct radiant warmth at a combined listed panel output of 5.2 kW. The current page does not state the internal volume or glazing load, so technical suitability and the intended operating mode must be confirmed before wiring.

Spirit for traditional sauna; Vitamy for direct radiant use

Choose Spirit when the desired experience is hot air, a stone mass and the option of steam from correctly applied water. It offers remote control but still needs a protected high-power circuit and safe heater clearances. Choose Vitamy when direct radiant warmth, lower air-temperature use or quicker personal comfort is the priority. Infrared is not simply a cheaper 9 kW sauna heater and should not be marketed as identical. Ask whether the page’s choice is exclusive or whether a combined installation is engineered.

The hidden decisions are electrical and spatial

Remote Xenio control is convenient only when sensors, isolation and network/control placement follow Harvia instructions. Infrared panels need correctly spaced positions that do not conflict with benches, glass or direct contact. Neither live route publishes lighting, ventilation, roof, delivery or base details, so the quotation must itemise them. Spruce will weather and needs finish-specific care. Keep service access to controller, sensor, panels and heater rather than sealing them behind decorative work.

Electric Harvia heaters

  • Infrared: Harvia Vitamy 1300W (4 units)
  • Harvia Spirit 9 kW with a remote Xenio controller (already included)

Advantages: A Cilindro electric heater offers repeatable thermostat control, no indoor fuel storage and a straightforward start-up routine. The listed 9 or 11 kW choices allow output to follow the actual heated sauna-room volume.

Radiant readiness is not the same measurement as room warm-up

Vitamy users can feel radiant heat before all the air and timber reach a traditional sauna temperature. Spirit must heat the room and stones, producing a different curve. Without internal cubic volume, glass and insulation, minutes would be speculative. Decide which comfort endpoint matters, then commission that system and record it honestly. Required ventilation must remain open in both modes; reducing fresh air to chase a faster reading undermines the room’s intended operation.

Place the circle where it will frame something worth seeing

Set out the full 3100 × 2100 mm base and check the 2620 mm height against access, eaves, branches and local siting requirements. Stand at expected bench level to test the intended view and privacy before confirming window orientation. Provide a stable level foundation with drainage away from the lower spruce. The selected heater must suit the real room and glazing, with ventilation, electrical or chimney route and clearances coordinated on the final drawing. Confirm the delivery or lifting path before fences and planting make the route narrower.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.

Questions about TimberIN Nordic Oculus™

What woodtype choices are shown for TimberIN Nordic Oculus™?

Woodtype choices currently shown are Spruce. Availability and valid combinations are controlled by the live configurator and confirmed in the final written order.

Does the displayed price include every option for TimberIN Nordic Oculus™?

Not necessarily. The displayed amount follows the current base or selected configuration. Size, material, heater, equipment, delivery and installation choices can change the total; the basket, quotation or written order is the final commercial record.

What should be confirmed before delivery of TimberIN Nordic Oculus™?

Choose the length or model around normal occupancy, bench arrangement and whether a changing or covered entrance space is needed. Confirm the heating package, electrical or flue route, ventilation and safe clearances for the selected room volume. Check base, delivery access, door and glazing orientation, drainage around the building and local siting requirements. Final dimensions, included equipment and site responsibilities should be confirmed before production or dispatch.
