Mobile Wood Fired Hot Tub on Trailer – TimberIN Nordic Mobile™

From: 5,797

Mobile Wood Fired Hot Tub on Trailer – TimberIN Nordic Mobile™. Nordic Mobile places a complete wood-fired hot tub on a trailer platform for operators who need the unit to serve more than one location. Four diameters and several heater positions allow the build to be matched to capacity and operating style, but each choice affects completed mass, axle loading and chimney layout. It is a specialist mobile system: final towing, registration and road-use decisions must follow the supplied trailer documents. The mobile build uses the polypropylene family’s 1,600/1,800/2,000/2,200 mm interiors—about 1,800/2,280/2,800/3,400 litres and 4–6/6–8/8–10/10–12 bathers before trailer integration. External, integrated or snorkel wood heat and no-heater builds are live, along with four bench styles, four timbers, insulation, massage, filtration and lighting. Final plated trailer mass and towing legality must be confirmed separately.

Product Description

Hot-tub bathing that can change location · Trailer-based hot-tub system

Mobile Wood Fired Hot Tub on Trailer – TimberIN Nordic Mobile™: a trailer-based system for events, rentals and mobile hospitality

Mobility changes the engineering brief

A mobile hot tub must work both as a bathing installation and as a load carried between sites. Diameter, water volume, cladding, heater position and optional equipment all influence balance and completed mass. The tub is transported empty and then needs a safe process for positioning, levelling, filling, heating and draining at each venue. An external stove preserves bathing room but widens the operating zone; an internal or integrated arrangement changes weight distribution and firebox access. These are operational choices, not styling details to decide after the trailer is built.

Tub capacity is documented; road-going mass is configuration-specific

Nordic Mobile is based on the polypropylene hot-tub family, so the shell data can be compared by diameter. What the family sheet cannot do is certify the completed trailer. Heater position, bench construction, cover, spa equipment, cladding and chassis all change mass and balance. The tub must travel empty, and the final trailer plate, axle limits and supplied documents—not the shell table—decide whether a tow vehicle and driver may move it.

1,600 mm shell 4–6 bathers; approximately 1,800 L; 1,920 mm top outside diameter; approximately 200 kg tub
1,800 mm shell 6–8 bathers; approximately 2,280 L; 2,120 mm top outside diameter; approximately 250 kg tub
2,000 mm shell 8–10 bathers; approximately 2,800 L; 2,320 mm top outside diameter; approximately 280 kg tub
2,200 mm shell 10–12 bathers; approximately 3,400 L; 2,520 mm top outside diameter; approximately 300 kg tub
Shell height Approximately 1,040 mm before optional bottom insulation
Road weight Not the same as tub dry weight; final completed plated mass required
Operating rule Transport empty; level and stabilise before filling

Diameter, benches and stove position determine whether the trailer is practical

Closed polypropylene benches can reduce family-sheet water volume by about 25%, useful where trailer payload and heat-up matter; open benches retain access and a lighter visual feel. An external stove preserves seating but expands the safety zone at each venue and must be secured for travel. An integrated heater gives a compact operating outline but ties servicing closely to the shell. A snorkel heater keeps outside space clear while taking room in the water. Choose the smallest diameter that meets normal bookings, then have the chassis and axle specification calculated around that exact build.

Decision Choices currently selectable
Inner diameter 1600 mm · 1800 mm · 2000 mm · 2200 mm
Stoves External wood-fired stove, 316-grade steel, chemical resistant · Integrated (316) stainless steel 35 kW wood fired heater (PP) · No heater · Snorkel wood-fired, 316-grade steel, chemical resistant

Options must survive transport as well as improve the bathing session

Insulation and a secure insulated cover are high-value choices for a mobile operator because every venue brings different wind and water temperatures. Filtration, massage and LEDs can support a premium rental offer, but their pipes, pumps and boxes must be drained, protected and inspected between moves. A chimney guard, ash tools and fixed operating procedures matter around the public. The quick drain adaptor is useful only when each venue has a lawful discharge point. Do not add equipment without checking axle load and secure stowage.

What the current configurator identifies as included

Already included: Wooden round edge + Wooden lid (available with spruce or thermo wood) · Insulated leather lid + top edge from polypropylene instead of wood

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Wood type

  • Siberian spruce
  • Siberian larch
  • Thermo wood
  • Oak

Advantages: Spruce offers a light traditional finish; larch is denser and visually pronounced; Thermowood is darker and heat-treated; WPC gives a more uniform low-finish exterior where listed.

Type of benches

  • Wooden benches
  • Wooden benches (sunny type)
  • Polypropylene open benches
  • Polypropylene close benches

Advantages: Open polypropylene benches retain inspection access and reduce visual bulk; closed benches displace water and can lower the volume to heat; shaped timber seating provides a more traditional material feel.

Type of stairs

  • "C" type stairs

Advantages: The correct stair creates a safer, more natural step over the hot-tub rim; broader A, A+ or C forms can provide a more generous landing beside a taller shell.

Insulation options

  • Wall insulation
  • Bottom insulation

Advantages: Wall and bottom insulation reduce heat loss from the water vessel and are particularly useful for frequent use, exposed sites and electric temperature holding.

SPA

  • Air bubble massage system
  • Hydro massage system
  • Sand filtration system with big wooden cover box
  • 2 LED
  • 4 LED (Recommended for 180 – 220 cm models)

Advantages: Air massage gives a gentle whole-tub effect, hydromassage provides firmer targeted jets, filtration supports retained-water use and LEDs improve evening visibility and atmosphere.

Inside color

  • White (RAL 9010)
  • Black (RAL 9005)
  • Blue (RAL 5012)
  • Light Grey (RAL 7032)
  • Dark Grey (RAL 7011)

Advantages: Liner colour lets the visible bathing shell coordinate with the garden and can make the water appear lighter, deeper or more neutral without changing the tub geometry.

Metal parts

  • Ash shovel and rake
  • Metal fence on the chimney (burn protection)
  • Stainless steel lid on the heater (only for inside stove)

Advantages: A chimney guard reduces accidental contact risk, a heater lid controls access around the firebox, and dedicated metal tools make ash handling and routine stove care more orderly.

Water release type

  • External water tap
  • External water tap + Quick adapter for garden hose set (12.5mm & 15mm)

Advantages: An external tap gives better control over discharge, while the quick hose adaptor helps route water away from foundations, neighbours and soft landscaping.

Heating at events: plan around the selected shell and turnaround window

The generic 2–3 hour warm-season and 4–6 hour cold-season wood-fired guidance is not a booking guarantee, especially across 1,800 to 3,400 litres. A 2,200 mm tub can hold almost twice the water of the 1,600 mm shell. Water supply temperature, heater output, dry fuel, wind and cover discipline must be built into the event schedule, with time for safe cool-down and complete drainage before travel. Commercial operators should record actual performance after commissioning and publish conservative guest-ready times.

Build a repeatable setup routine for every destination

Check tow-vehicle suitability, licence, insurance, registration, coupling, axle limits and road dimensions against the final supplied documents and local requirements. At the destination, use firm level ground that can carry the trailer, water and bathers without movement. Establish safe zones around the firebox and chimney, prevent public access to hot surfaces and control where several hundred litres of water will drain. Commercial operators should also document cleaning, water treatment, inspection and cool-down procedures so the experience remains consistent between bookings.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.
