Modular core

TimberIN Nordic Core™

From: 3,371

TimberIN Nordic Core™. Nordic Core is a configurable family hot tub offered in 1800 and 2000 mm formats, with four exterior timber choices and integrated or hybrid heating. It is deliberately supplied as a platform rather than a fixed accessory bundle, allowing the buyer to prioritise size, finish and heat source first. The accepted configuration should be treated as the product: apparently similar versions can differ in bathing space, electrical needs, service access and complete footprint. Nordic Core is documented in 1,800 mm (4–6 people, 1,300 litres, 2,000 mm outside, 150 kg) and 2,000 mm (6–8 people, 1,500 litres, 2,250 mm outside, 180 kg) versions. Integrated AISI 316 wood heat or hybrid support, four timbers, three cover routes, two stair styles, insulation, massage, filtration, LEDs, colour and smart-control options are live.

Product Description

A family platform configured around the household · Made-to-order outdoor hot tub

TimberIN Nordic Core™: two practical diameters with material and heating freedom

A clear base model that leaves the important choices open

The two diameters cover the needs of many family gardens without extending into the very largest water volumes. Exterior timber can be selected for colour, texture and maintenance character, while the integrated heater keeps the installation visually contained. The hybrid route combines wood heat with electric support and is useful when the ownership routine benefits from temperature holding or frost management. Those systems should not be treated as interchangeable accessories: each changes the services, controls and maintenance access required around the finished tub.

Two Core sizes with a 200-litre step in water volume

Nordic Core is the integrated-heater Wellness Royal family. The linked drawing separates the 1,800 and 2,000 mm versions clearly: the smaller is a 4–6-person, 1,300-litre tub; the larger is a 6–8-person, 1,500-litre tub. Both keep the wood fire in the tub wall rather than occupying the centre or standing separately beside the cladding. That compact integration is the defining advantage and the principal servicing consideration.

Core 1800 4–6 bathers; approximately 1,300 L; 1,800 mm inside; 2,000 mm outside; approximately 150 kg
Core 2000 6–8 bathers; approximately 1,500 L; 2,030 mm inside; 2,250 mm outside; approximately 180 kg
Chimney Approximately 2,000 mm long
Filter and drain connections AISI 316, 1 inch / 25 mm when specified
1800 wooden/fibreglass/leather covers About 40 kg / 30 kg / 15 kg respectively
2000 wooden/fibreglass/leather covers About 50 kg / 35 kg / 20 kg respectively
Heater choices Integrated AISI 316 wood-fired or hybrid wood + electric

Choose 1,800 or 2,000 mm by real use, then decide whether hybrid heat earns its complexity

The 1,800 mm Core is the balanced family size: lower filled load, smaller cover and sufficient room for four to six. The 2,000 mm version adds shoulder room for larger households or guests but carries 200 litres more and needs a wider delivery envelope. Integrated wood heat gives a clean perimeter and avoids external pipes. Hybrid adds temperature support and scheduling potential, but requires an electrician, controls and service space. Because the heater is part of the shell, access to its firebox, chimney and water-side surfaces must remain permanent.

Decision Choices currently selectable
Diameter inside 1800 mm: 4-6 persons · 2000 mm: 6-8 persons
Woodtype Larch · Oak · Spruce · Thermo Wood
Stoves Hybrid heating: wood fired + electric · Integrated wood-fired stove, 316-grade steel, chemical resistant · Wood burning heater 316 AISI (resistant to water treatment chemicals)

Choose the cover and water-care system with the same care as the heater

The insulated leather cover is the lightest documented route and the best thermal choice for frequent use; the fibreglass lid is durable and shape-specific; the wooden combination is visually warm but limited to spruce or Thermowood and is the heaviest. Filtration is valuable when 1,300–1,500 litres will be retained. Air massage gives a gentle effect, hydromassage a stronger one, and both add power and winterisation work. A drain hose adaptor is practical only if the garden has a suitable discharge route.

What the current configurator identifies as included

Already included: (1) Drink holding side shelf; (2) Metal chimney grid; (3) Wooden paddle

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Type of lid

  • Fiberglass lid
  • With wooden round edge and wooden lid (available only with spruce or thermowood)
  • Insulated leather lid (recommended)

Advantages: A fitted cover reduces debris and heat loss; an insulated leather cover is normally lighter to handle and more thermally effective than a plain timber lid.

Type of stairs

  • “A” type stairs
  • “C” type stairs

Advantages: The correct stair creates a safer, more natural step over the hot-tub rim; broader A, A+ or C forms can provide a more generous landing beside a taller shell.

Insulation

  • Wall insulation
  • Bottom insulation

Advantages: Wall and bottom insulation reduce heat loss from the water vessel and are particularly useful for frequent use, exposed sites and electric temperature holding.

SPA

  • Air bubble massage system
  • Hydro massage system
  • Sand filtration system with big wooden cover box
  • 2 LED
  • 4 LED (Recommended for 180 – 220 cm models)

Advantages: Air massage gives a gentle whole-tub effect, hydromassage provides firmer targeted jets, filtration supports retained-water use and LEDs improve evening visibility and atmosphere.

Smart SPA equipment add-ons (WiFi signal required)

  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for air massage
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for water massage system
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for sand filter
  • Smart app – voice controlled system kit for electric heater (enables scheduled control, ON/OFF)

Advantages: App control can schedule electric support and make filtration, air massage or hydromassage easier to prepare before a planned soak, with separate control applied only to the systems selected.

Inside color

  • White (RAL 9001)
  • Blue (RAL 5012)
  • Gray (RAL 7015)
  • Blue Pearl (RAL 7700)
  • Gray Pearl (RAL 7730)
  • Granite (RAL 9001)

Advantages: Liner colour lets the visible bathing shell coordinate with the garden and can make the water appear lighter, deeper or more neutral without changing the tub geometry.

Water release type

  • External water tap (included)
  • External water tap + Quick adapter for garden hose set (12.5mm & 15mm)

Advantages: An external tap gives better control over discharge, while the quick hose adaptor helps route water away from foundations, neighbours and soft landscaping.

Integrated heat does not make weather irrelevant

The sheet gives volume and geometry but no promised hours. TimberIN’s manual uses a broad 2–3 hour warm-season and 4–6 hour cold-season range and about 8°C per hour for a well-operated 2,000-litre example. Core’s 1,300–1,500 litres are below that example, yet fire quality, starting temperature, cover, wind and the selected hybrid output still govern the session. The integrated heater must have the required water level and circulation before lighting, and the tub must not be drained until the heater is cool.

Build the specification from everyday use outward

Choose 1800 or 2000 mm by considering the number of regular bathers, their comfort and the energy you are prepared to put into each heat-up. Compare timber options by weathering and permitted care products rather than by showroom colour alone. If hybrid heating is selected, arrange a compliant electrical supply to the final equipment data; if wood is the main heat source, preserve firebox and chimney access. The base, drainage route and delivery path should be confirmed for the complete build, including steps, cover and service enclosure.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.

Questions about TimberIN Nordic Core™

What diameter inside choices are shown for TimberIN Nordic Core™?

Diameter inside choices currently shown are 1800 mm: 4-6 persons; 2000 mm: 6-8 persons. Availability and valid combinations are controlled by the live configurator and confirmed in the final written order.

Does the displayed price include every option for TimberIN Nordic Core™?

Not necessarily. The displayed amount follows the current base or selected configuration. Size, material, heater, equipment, delivery and installation choices can change the total; the basket, quotation or written order is the final commercial record.

What should be confirmed before delivery of TimberIN Nordic Core™?

Choose the normal occupancy and shell size first; nominal capacity is not a comfort guarantee for every body size. Select heater position and fuel after checking usable seating, firebox access, chimney route and any electrical supply. Confirm delivery access, a level load-bearing base, safe filling and drainage, and the intended winter operating routine. Final dimensions, included equipment and site responsibilities should be confirmed before production or dispatch.

Hi Albert See attached photo. For feedback if your putting on website most people in UK will be most concerned about transferring money to a foreign company which is why I have discussed below - Being from the UK I was obviously worried about paying such a large amount to a foreign company, I carried out a fair amount of research and decided I would take the risk and proceed. I can honestly say it was a good decision, the hot tub was slightly delayed due to covid 19 impact but if I emailed for an update I got a response within 24 hours. The quality of the hot tub is very good even down to the stainless grate and Ash pan. I found Transferwise to be the best method to pay and reduce fees. One piece of advice, don't under estimate the weight, it took us some time to get the hot tub into position in the back garden but we'll worth it. Andrew

Wow...well worth the wait though, she’s a beauty..with a high build quality. We had a few teething problems, which were quickly resolved by Albert and his team, via email and phone. I do agree, the UV filter connectors aren’t the best, but I have found a work round for that so no worries. One thing I would say is be prepared for the delivery..it will take more than the recommended 3 -4 men. A Hoist genie and pallet truck with 8 people is more like it. We are very pleased with the product TimberIN have provided, and we are currently enjoying wood burning hot tubbing at its best.! Thank you

Our hot tub arrived around 8 weeks ago and so far it’s been great. Production was a little longer than we originally thought it would be but only by a couple of weeks and that was with the pandemic going on. Communication from the company was reasonably good. They responding to most of our queries promptly. We did get cheaper prices from other companies but in the end decided that we wanted to go with the company with lots of reviews so we knew it would be legit. The hot tub itself has been great. Seems well made and exactly as we specified. We’re now thinking we might upgrade to the sand filtration system but otherwise very happy with everything!

Dear Albert, We really love the hot tub, it looks and feels great! After the initial task of setting up of Sand Filter and UV Light, which was a little time consuming, the hot tub has been brilliant. Thanks too for being so accommodating and supporting us with our space issues and the delivery drivers were lovely

Simply unbelievable - TOTAL bliss 5 STARS for the value of money, quality of build, low maintenance, aesthetics, and customer service I purchased a wooden / fibreglass tub with jets - drinks shelf, stirring paddle, LED. LEAD time 5-6 weeks - delivery fantastic Value of money - cheaper than any quality electric hot tub ( not inflatables, however you want to avoid those) Able to customize what u want and your price budget Quality of build Solid, insulated maximum, looks fantastic no leaks Low maintenance So much cheaper than electric to run - on average £3 of wood to heat up from cold and stays hot for at least 48 hours - small regular top-ups will give constant heat for days, as opposed to electric could be £50 to heat and between £3-5 to keep warm. So miles cheaper than an electric BOTH on cost and maintenance. NOT ONLY that - no chemicals, no chlorine as tub can be emptied very easily using external water tap every 2-3 uses so COST saved on that as well Customer service Excellent, good price, no problems with the delivery, kept informed at all times, pictures sent during the build process One point I would say is that an instruction Manual could be given with the tub regarding final build or maintenance regarding cleaning and fill instructions but this can be easily Google’d online All in all fantastic service and cost for the quality received!
