Product Description
Twenty-six kilowatts of submerged wood heat · Purpose-built hot-tub heating
TimberIN SubmergeFire™ 26: a compact AISI 316 heater that sits directly in the water
Direct contact with the water in a tightly contained layout
The submerged body transfers heat without relying on an external stove and long connecting pipes, making the system mechanically compact. That simplicity is balanced by the presence of the heater, firebox interface and protective guard within the tub envelope. The unit must remain at its specified water level during operation, and bathers must be separated from hot surfaces. AISI 316 stainless steel is intended for demanding water-side service, but corrosion resistance still depends on water chemistry, approved cleaning products and operating the heater according to its instructions.
A 26 kW heater that lives inside the tub
SubmergeFire is the deliberate alternative to a freestanding external stove. Immersing the heat exchanger simplifies the water circuit and transfers heat directly, useful where garden space is limited. The trade-off is permanent occupation of part of the bathing area and the need for a correctly designed guard, water level and firebox approach. AISI 316 and 2–3 mm plate are the live material details; the drawing, not the product photo, defines the exact envelope.
| Nominal output | 26 kW |
|---|---|
| Material | AISI 316 stainless steel |
| Stated material thickness | 2–3 mm |
| Layout | Internal/submerged snorkel hot-tub heater |
| Connection advantage | No separate external flow-and-return pipe run |
| Space effect | Uses part of the bathing area and bench circle |
| Compatible tub volume | Must be confirmed with the manufacturer |
| Required protection | Approved water-side guard and chimney/contact separation |
One output means compatibility must be decided at tub level
There is no smaller or larger SubmergeFire variation on the live page. The buyer’s decision is whether 26 kW and the heater’s physical shape suit the actual shell. It is strongest in a purpose-built compact tub where an external stove cannot be accommodated. It is weaker where unrestricted seating, easy future replacement or a hidden heat source matters. Confirm tub material, litres, minimum water depth, heater orientation and chimney route before ordering; do not cut an existing vessel from a photograph.

| Power | 26 KW (316 AISI 2-3 mm) |
A 26 kW label cannot specify hours without litres
For illustration, raising 1,500 litres by 30°C needs roughly 52 kWh before losses. At theoretical full transfer, 26 kW would be about two hours; real wood firing takes longer and varies continuously. The exact tub volume, exposed surface, starting temperature, fuel moisture, cover and safe firing rate must be known. Establish the real curve during commissioning and approach final bathing temperature slowly, mixing and measuring the water rather than relying on a single local reading.
Confirm the shell and safety arrangement before purchase
Check that the tub geometry, material and seating plan are approved for this heater and guard. Position the firebox so it can be loaded from outside without bathers crossing the hot zone, and route the chimney with the stated clearances from covers, timber and nearby structures. Do not fire the heater without the required water level or while water is frozen. The 26 kW rating does not guarantee a fixed heat-up time; volume, starting temperature, fuel quality, wind and insulation determine real performance.
Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Questions about TimberIN SubmergeFire™ 26
What power choices are shown for TimberIN SubmergeFire™ 26?
Power choices currently shown are 26 KW (316 AISI 2-3 mm). Availability and valid combinations are controlled by the live configurator and confirmed in the final written order.
Does the displayed price include every option for TimberIN SubmergeFire™ 26?
Not necessarily. The displayed amount follows the current base or selected configuration. Size, material, heater, equipment, delivery and installation choices can change the total; the basket, quotation or written order is the final commercial record.
What should be confirmed before delivery of TimberIN SubmergeFire™ 26?
Confirm that the heater is compatible with the tub material, real water volume, connection layout and required circulation. Plan firebox access, guarding, chimney route and clearances exactly as required by the heater and tub instructions. Do not treat nominal kW as a guaranteed heat-up time; starting water temperature, cover, weather, fuel and heat loss all matter. Final dimensions, included equipment and site responsibilities should be confirmed before production or dispatch.
