Product Description
LED lighting arranged around the seating
An LED inside a hot tub does more than add colour. Its position affects how clearly you see the steps, perceive depth and experience the space around the bathers. This product offers a control box alone or with one, two, three or four LEDs.
| Current choice | Suggested use | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Control box only | Replacement or preparation of an already specified system | A compatible control for the project |
| One LED | Small tub or accent lighting | A discreet point of light |
| Two LEDs | Compact tub or two areas to balance | More even light distribution |
| Three LEDs | Round or oval family tub | Light across several seats without concentrating it in one place |
| Four LEDs | Large or square tub | More consistent coverage |
Decide the layout before manufacture
Factory integration allows the through-shell fittings, cable routes and technical access to be arranged before the shell and cladding are finished. For an existing tub, confirm compatibility before any cutting. The plan should identify light positions, cable routes and an accessible, protected location for the control box.
A light directly facing the eyes can be dazzling. A position below a seat or directed towards a wall creates softer reflected light. A separate point near the steps can make the entrance easier to see.
Power supply and maintenance
Use components suitable for the wet environment and a connection designed to the applicable electrical requirements. Keep the transformer, protective equipment and connections outside prohibited zones. Cable glands should remain accessible for inspection, and cables must not interfere with filtration or insulation.
Avoid abrasive tools on the lenses when cleaning. Check watertightness, fixings and operation periodically before bathing. Isolate the electrical supply before any electrical work.
How many lights should you choose?
One or two LEDs suit a quiet accent in a smaller tub. Three or four points are more suitable for a larger circumference or square shape, or where each seating area and the steps need to remain clearly visible.
Confirm the number against the diameter, interior colour and seating plan. A dark shell absorbs more light than a pale finish.
Confirm compatibility in the quotation
Specify the tub model, shell material and interior colour, number and position of LEDs, and any massage jets. The offer should identify the control box, power supply, cables, through-shell fittings, controls and factory installation. This avoids finding that a bench or insulation layer blocks the intended position after manufacture.
LEDs can improve visibility and evening atmosphere inside the tub. They do not replace separate outdoor lighting for the steps and the route back to the house.
