12 W UV-C treatment while the water circulates
This module exposes circulating water to a 12 W UV-C lamp emitting at 254 nm. It is offered as an upgrade to the TimberIN sand-filtration system, not as a universal standalone device.
UV-C works within the circuit without adding a residue to the water. It supplements mechanical filtration and can help control the microbiological load. Water parameters, the disinfectant required and water-replacement frequency still need to be managed for the actual use and applicable requirements.

Compatibility and flow
The module is installed with the sand filter so water passes through the chamber when the pump runs. Keep flow within the range specified in its instructions. Effective exposure depends on contact time, water clarity and a clean quartz sleeve.
The quotation should confirm connections, positioning after the filter, electrical supply and access for lamp replacement. The compact housing can sit within a ventilated and protected equipment area.
Maintenance and operation
Clean the quartz sleeve regularly to remove scale and deposits. Replace the lamp after its specified service life even if it still emits visible light. Remove or drain the unit before freezing conditions, following its instructions.
Never look directly at UV-C radiation. Check operation only through the intended indicators, isolate power before opening and allow the lamp to cool for ten minutes. Do not immerse the appliance.

Choose this module when your tub already uses TimberIN sand filtration and you want additional in-line treatment. It is particularly relevant when water remains in use for several days.
An effective routine combines filtration, UV-C, balanced water parameters, measured disinfection and regular cleaning.
Plan an effective installation
Confirm positioning after filtration, flow direction, flow rate and connections against the instructions. Leave enough service space to remove the lamp and quartz sleeve without dismantling all the pipework. Record the hours or maintenance schedule from commissioning.
UV-C is useful when water circulates regularly and remains in the tub. It complements a correctly sized filter; it does not compensate for cloudy water, insufficient circulation or unmonitored disinfection.
