A hot tub is an object of beauty. It is very well made and a pleasure to use and look at. It takes a LOT of wood to get it up to temperature – and the fire needs constant attention during heating. This is understandable – but I hadn’t thought about it before. I will probably add an electric heater in order to make the heating process easier. A forklift is not always easy to get hold of – but we did manage to get one. Without it we would not have got it off the lorry. It then took 5 of us and a substantial trolley to move it. 400KG and 2.5m high on a pallet is not to be underestimated!
