Hot Tub, Sauna and Outdoor Wellness Accessories

Accessories should solve a defined job: retain heat, keep water clean, improve comfort, protect equipment or make routine maintenance easier. The right choice depends on the exact TimberIN model, water volume, heater arrangement, electrical supply and how often the installation will be used.

This catalogue includes insulated covers, filtration and UV equipment, massage and lighting systems, frost-protection components, sauna accessories and water-care products. Product photographs show the component type, but compatibility and the final scope of supply must be confirmed against the selected model and written quotation.

Best ordering sequence: select the main model first, confirm its size and equipment, then add only compatible accessories. This avoids buying a cover, filter, heater or pipework set that does not match the finished configuration.

Choose accessories by the problem they solve

Covers and insulation

An insulated cover reduces heat loss, limits debris and helps protect an unused tub. It does not replace safe winter preparation or supervision around water. Confirm the finished outside dimensions, shape, fold direction, fixing method and clearance around chimneys or external equipment. A lightweight tarpaulin can keep leaves off but should not be treated as a structural, child-safe or highly insulated lid.

Sand filtration, UV and water care

A sand filter removes suspended particles when flow rate and filter media suit the system. UV treatment is an additional stage that acts only on water passing through the chamber; it does not remove debris and does not leave a sanitising residual in the tub. Water balance, cleaning and any approved chemical treatment remain separate responsibilities. Plan a dry, ventilated and serviceable position for the pump, filter and valves.

Massage, air bubbles and lighting

Water jets, air massage and LED lighting should be specified before production wherever they affect the shell, pipework or control layout. Ask how many jets or lamps are included, where they are positioned, which pump or transformer is required and how each component can be serviced. Photographs may show optional equipment that is not included in the base price.

Electric heating and frost protection

An electric heater can maintain temperature or support another heat source when correctly sized. A small frost-protection heater protects only the circuit and conditions for which it is designed; it is not a guarantee against freezing during power loss, blocked circulation or extreme weather. The complete electrical load—including heater, pump, jets, lighting and controls—must be checked by a qualified electrician.

Sauna and monitoring accessories

Sauna sets, thermometers and connected monitoring devices are useful only when their operating range and installation position suit the environment. Keep timber accessories clear of heater safety zones, follow the heater manufacturer’s instructions and treat app-based readings as a convenience rather than a substitute for direct inspection.

Compatibility checklist before ordering

Accessory Confirm first Common mistake
Cover Finished shape, dimensions, fold and nearby chimney Ordering from a nominal tub diameter
Filter or UV Water volume, flow, pipe size, power and service position Treating UV as a complete water-care system
Massage or LED Shell drilling, component positions, controls and electrical load Trying to add built-in equipment after production
Electric heater Output, circulation, supply capacity and installation rules Comparing heater price without pumps and controls
Frost protection Operating limits, circulation and shutdown plan Assuming it protects during a power cut
Sauna set Room type, heater clearances and materials Placing accessories inside a safety zone

What is normally included?

“Accessory” does not always mean a complete installed system. A filter may require hoses, valves, unions, media, a weather-protected location and electrical work. A heater may need a circulation pump and controls. Built-in massage or lighting may require factory preparation. Use the product page as a starting point, then rely on the itemised quotation for the binding scope.

Before delivery, confirm who prepares the base, water connection, drain, electrical supply and equipment enclosure; who unloads and positions the component; and who commissions it. Keep service access clear after landscaping. For complete installations, compare accessories alongside our outdoor hot tubs and outdoor saunas.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add every accessory later?

No. Covers and some external equipment may be added later, but jets, lights, shell penetrations and certain pipework arrangements are normally best specified before production.

Do I need both a sand filter and UV?

They perform different jobs. The filter removes particles; UV treats water passing through its chamber. Neither removes the need for cleaning, water balance and a suitable hygiene routine.

Will a cover stop the tub freezing?

A cover slows heat loss but does not guarantee freeze protection. Pipework, equipment, circulation, power reliability and the shutdown procedure must be considered together.

How do I know an accessory fits my TimberIN model?

Send the exact product name, size, order reference and current equipment list. Compatibility should be confirmed in writing before purchase.
