TimberIN Nordic Sauna & Hot Tub Combo Hobbiton™

TimberIN Nordic Sauna & Hot Tub Combo Hobbiton™. Nordic Hobbiton Duo combines a Thermowood sauna and hot tub within a defined 4600 × 2400 mm structure. The broad rounded Hobbiton shell gives the installation a strong architectural identity, while the joined functions create a direct sequence between sauna heat and outdoor bathing. With shell dimensions and timber already established, the project focus moves to orientation, delivery, foundation, heater services, water treatment, drainage, chimneys and maintainable equipment access. Hobbiton Combo is a 4,600 × 2,400 mm Thermowood sauna/hot-tub building for 2–4 sauna users, about 1,200 kg, with a 2,000 mm-diameter hot tub. The wood package combines an integrated tub stove and Harvia 20 SL; the electric package uses a 9 kW tub heater and 9 kW Cilindro sauna heater. Air massage, LEDs, leather tub cover, glass door, round windows and black roof are included; delivery is factory assembled.

Product Description

A Thermowood Hobbiton spa in a defined 4600 mm plan · Combined garden wellness room

TimberIN Nordic Sauna & Hot Tub Combo Hobbiton™: rounded sauna architecture and hot-tub bathing as one garden feature

Two wellness experiences held within one distinctive silhouette

The Hobbiton profile uses an arched roof and upright lower walls to create more shoulder room than a simple barrel, while Thermowood gives the exterior a warm, deep tone. The hot tub is not an afterthought beside the sauna; it is integrated into the composition so users can move naturally between dry heat and water. Technically, however, the systems remain separate. Sauna ventilation and heater sizing, hot-tub circulation and water care, combustion clearances, electrical controls and drainage all need their own resolved routes within the shared structure.

One 4.6-metre body containing two independent thermal systems

Hobbiton Combo integrates a sauna and large round hot tub under one oval architectural shell. The technical sheet records 4,600 × 2,400 mm, 2–4-person sauna capacity, approximately 1,200 kg and a 2,000 mm hot-tub interior. The wood package uses an integrated tub fire and an outside-loaded Harvia 20 SL for the sauna; the electric package gives each zone its own 9 kW heater. The systems share a building but not a single control or heat-up calculation.

Choose one operating philosophy for both zones

The wood package is for buyers who want a fire-led ritual throughout. Outside-loading 20 SL keeps sauna logs and ash out of the room, while the integrated tub stove keeps the exterior compact; both require chimney, fuel and cool-down routines. The electric package is cleaner and schedulable, but two 9 kW loads create a serious electrical design and a 9 kW tub heater will warm a large 2-metre bath gradually. Mixing assumptions between packages is unsafe—order drawings must show every supply or flue route for the selected system.

The comfort package is included; the project work is not

Air massage, LED lighting and insulated cover are already part of the tub, so ongoing water care, filtration confirmation, drainage and frost protection deserve more attention than adding decoration. The sauna’s round glazing and glass door create the Hobbiton character while adding heat loss. Factory assembly protects integration but requires unloading machinery and a base for the whole 4.6-metre structure. Both heaters need separate maintenance access, and the wet route from tub to sauna needs a non-slip, drainable surface.

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Plan a sequence, not one combined ready time

The sauna can reach use temperature on a different schedule from the 2,000 mm tub. Wood-fired times depend on two separate fires and operator attention; electric operation involves two 9 kW circuits and a large water load. The sheet does not state tub litres, so an exact electric calculation is unavailable. Commission both systems independently, then decide whether users sauna while the tub completes heating or vice versa. Ventilation, filtration and drying continue after bathing.

Design the complete circuit around people and maintenance

Place the 4600 × 2400 mm envelope on the site and add room for steps, doors, stove loading, chimneys and equipment panels. The foundation must remain level under the building and resist the concentrated filled-tub load. Confirm how the assembled structure reaches the site and where lifting equipment can stand. Orient openings for privacy and useful views, then coordinate clean water, controlled drainage, electrical supply and fuel. Pumps, heaters and connections should remain replaceable without removing permanent decking or dismantling the sauna.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.
