Thermal Cover for Hot Tubs

Also available: four wooden-lid choices, covering the two 1,800 mm configurations, the 2,000 mm tub and a square tub with dimensions to be supplied.

This thermal hot tub cover combines a UV-resistant synthetic-leather outer with 70 mm insulation. Four round or square configurations are priced directly in the selector. Other TimberIN models are available by quotation, with the shape and cut-outs designed around the actual tub.

Finished Ø2,000 and Ø2,250 mm covers weigh approximately 15 and 20 kg respectively. Fixing straps and a locking system are included. Keep the correctly fitted cover in place during heating to reduce heat loss from the water surface. Colours are black RAL 9005, anthracite grey RAL 7016 and dark brown RAL 8016.

Wooden lids: four additional choices

Choose a wooden lid for a tub with a 1,800 mm internal diameter and 2,000 mm outer diameter, with an integrated/external heater or an internal heater; a 2,000 mm internal-diameter tub with a 2,250 mm outer diameter and integrated/external heater; or a square tub whose required dimensions you provide.

Wooden lids are separate products from the synthetic-leather insulated covers. The insulation, weight, straps, locking and synthetic-leather colour details below apply only to the thermal cover. Confirm the wooden lid’s construction and fit in the quotation.

A thermal cover made around your hot tub

An insulated cover is useful only when its shape matches the tub, finished diameter and heater position. The TimberIN thermal cover uses UV-resistant synthetic leather and 70 mm insulation. Fixing straps and a locking system are supplied.

Keep the cover in place during heating to help reduce heat loss through the water surface. The cut-out must match the exact tub and heater arrangement.

The four configurations above can be ordered through this page’s selector. Covers for other TimberIN models are available by quotation: there is no single price covering every shape, size and heater position.

For a new TimberIN tub, the cover is prepared from the approved tub configuration. For an existing tub, provide the requested measurements and photographs so that the shape, cut-outs and obstructions can be checked before manufacture.

UV-resistant outer and 70 mm insulation

The synthetic-leather outer is UV-resistant and intended for the cover’s outdoor use. The 70 mm insulation reduces heat exchange at the water surface. Actual results also depend on outdoor temperature, wind, water temperature, heating duration and tub insulation. No fixed energy saving or heating time is promised.

Fixing, locking and use during heating

Fixing straps and a locking system are included. No regulatory child-safety certification is claimed for this locking system; assess the site’s requirements for securing the tub separately.

Keep the correctly matched cover fitted while heating to retain warmth. Choose according to the tub’s diameter, shape and heater position. Request a quotation for a configuration outside the four directly priced thermal-cover choices.

These colours apply to the synthetic-leather outer. They do not change the insulation thickness or the need to confirm the cover’s dimensions.

How thick is the insulation?

The thermal cover has 70 mm insulation and a UV-resistant synthetic-leather outer. These specifications do not apply to the separate wooden-lid choices.

Should I remove it while heating?

No. The correctly fitted cover remains in place to retain heat. Order the cut-out that matches the tub and heating arrangement.

Are the straps and locking system included?

Yes. No level of child-safety certification is claimed for the locking system.

How do I order for an existing tub?

Send the requested measurements and photographs. TimberIN checks the shape, dimensions and heater position before preparing a manufacturing quotation.

How much does the cover weigh?

Approximately 15 kg for the finished Ø2,000 mm cover and 20 kg for Ø2,250 mm. Confirm the weight of a custom shape with the project.
