A wood-fired hot tub with SPA equipment already included
TimberIN Nordic Rojal™ is a round hot tub with a fibreglass shell, moulded seating and thermowood exterior cladding. It suits buyers who want the main equipment brought together in one package: the current UK configurator lists hydromassage, air-bubble massage, a sand filter, two LEDs, insulation, a cover and steps as already included.
Two sizes and two wood-fired heater positions let you match the tub to your group and available space. The current Rojal™ configuration does not offer electric or hybrid heating.
Dimensions, capacity and water volume
The 1800 and 2000 labels are the nominal model sizes in the configurator. The larger model is called “2000 mm”, while its technical drawing gives an internal diameter of 2,040 mm.

The documented 150 or 180 kg is described as the total tub weight; it is not the load with water and bathers. For a foundation, deck, narrow access route or lifting plan, use the final order drawing. These products are handmade and dimensions can vary.
Integrated or external wood-fired heater
Both current heater options use AISI 316 stainless steel. The external BFTS-50 heater is documented at 22 kW. It stands separately beside the tub and leaves more water volume: an extra 100 litres in the 1800 model or 50 litres in the larger model.
The integrated heater occupies a section on one side of the tub envelope and avoids a separate heater body beside it. Its output is not specified in the current Rojal™ documentation and must be confirmed for the configuration ordered. The documented flue is 2,000 mm long; this does not determine the final installed height or required safety clearances.
No universal heating time is specified. Water volume, starting temperature, fuel, weather, cover and insulation all affect the actual result.
Fibreglass shell, thermowood and insulation
The fibreglass shell forms the seating and surfaces in contact with the water. Thermowood is the exterior cladding offered for all current Rojal™ configurations; the other timber choices found on some TimberIN models are not offered here.
Wall and floor insulation are included. The exact product documentation does not specify their material or thickness. The insulated leather cover has 70 mm insulation: the cover for the 1800 model measures 2,000 mm and weighs 15 kg, while the larger cover measures 2,250 mm and weighs 20 kg.
Filtration, hydromassage, air bubbles and lighting
The current UK “Already included” package contains:
- Water-jet hydromassage with two LEDs.
- Air-bubble massage.
- A sand-filtration system with a wooden enclosure.
- Wall and floor insulation.
- An insulated leather cover.
- Luxury type A steps.
- A wooden drinks shelf, mixing paddle and metal chimney guard.
The filter connections are documented as AISI 316 stainless steel, 1 inch / 25 mm. The current Rojal™ documentation does not specify filter flow rate or electrical requirements, jet or air-outlet counts, pump outputs or LED colour modes. Confirm these details in the technical order summary before preparing the necessary electrical supplies and protection.
Interior colours, drainage and practical choices
Five interior finishes are currently available: white, grey, blue pearl, grey pearl and granite. Choose the external drain tap, whose position depends on the heater layout, or the same tap with a quick connector for a 12.5 or 15 mm hose.
The type A steps occupy 830 × 780 mm on the ground and stand 600 mm high, with the first step at 290 mm. Allow this space in addition to the tub diameter, cover opening, heater, flue, filtration, drain and maintenance access.
Prepare the foundation and delivery access
For initial structural planning, TimberIN uses an approximate figure of 2,000 kg with water and bathers. This is neither an exact operating weight nor a maximum. The responsible professional must design the support for the final size, water volume, number of bathers and equipment configuration.
The main package for the 1800 measures 2,200 × 1,300 × 2,100 mm; the nominal 2000 package measures 2,450 × 1,300 × 2,350 mm, in height × width × length order. The steps travel in a 900 × 800 × 1,000 mm package. Confirm the separate side-package details for the larger model with an external heater.
The UK delivery selector retains free green-zone delivery south of Leeds. The yellow zone is £429 and covers the listed northern and other areas, including Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Exeter and Plymouth. Delivery information specifies an 18 m / 40-tonne lorry, with a possible smaller 3.5-tonne vehicle in London. Confirm address coverage, access and unloading with TimberIN. The current UK configuration does not provide the separate driver-unloading option shown on the French page; arrange unloading and movement to the final base before delivery.

Rojal™ suits a project that calls for wood-fired heating and a complete set of the main SPA features. What are the dimensions, capacities and water volumes?
The 1800 model measures 1,800 mm internally and 2,000 mm externally. It is rated for 4–6 people and holds 1,300 litres with an integrated heater or 1,400 litres with an external heater. The nominal 2000 model measures 2,040 mm internally, is rated for 6–8 people and holds 1,500 or 1,550 litres. Its external diameter is 2,240 mm in the table and 2,250 mm on one drawing; use the final order drawing for critical measurements.
Why does the “2000 mm” option measure 2,040 mm internally?
“2000 mm” is the nominal model label in the configurator. The technical drawing for that same version gives an internal diameter of 2,040 mm. These are not two different models.
How do the integrated and external heaters differ?
The integrated heater occupies a section within one side of the tub envelope. The external heater stands separately beside the tub and leaves an extra 50 or 100 litres of water volume, depending on size. Both current options are AISI 316 stainless steel. The external BFTS-50 is documented at 22 kW; confirm the integrated heater’s output with your order.

Which finishes are available?

How long does the water take to heat?
No fixed heating time is documented for Rojal™. The water volume ranges from 1,300 to 1,550 litres, and heating depends on starting temperature, fuel, weather, cover, insulation and the chosen heater. A single universal time would not be reliable.

It arrived Friday morning 4th April and we were in the water and enjoying it on Saturday evening. We’ve been in it every night since!
A big thank you to you and your team. The specification is exactly as planned, and the workmanship is excellent.
You might welcome some feedback on a couple of relatively minor issues, which I hope you will find helpful. We only received 4 pictures of the hot tub, but in all honesty, these weren’t really enough for us to confirm that we would be happy with the product before making the final payment. We trusted the process and made payment, but it would have been better if we could have seen images of the liner and also inside the electric cupboard and the insulation. Just something to be aware of.
The other minor point relates to the sand filter and UV-C. both of them came with European plug fittings that required changing. I would have thought that a UK specification would come with a UK plug. Again, this is not a huge point, but it was inconvenient to have to change these.
Apart from those minor niggles, everything was great. So, once again, a big thank you to you and your team.

We’ve had it a week now, used it every night.
The good: the build is fantastic, the log burner heats up the water quickly and you don’t even need to use electricity. The jets are great. The lighting looks fab.
It’s comfortable for 4, you can get 6 in but to be fair we got it for us so there’s rarely going to be times there’s more than two in there.
The wood is a lovely colour. We’ve emptied every time we’ve used it but it came with a sand filter so we probably don’t need to. The tub cleans well.
The insulation is amazing and keeps the water warm for hours, probably all day and night if we wanted it to. You don’t have to use much wood to get the water hot either.
We are loving our hot tub.
All in all we are very happy with it.

We have one question; could you tell us how many liters of water the Hot Tub holds? To start we plan on using chemicals but may switch later to a UV Filter system.

We’re still very happy with the tub. It all works well. The only thing is that we’re still trying to find a bit out how much chlorine we need to add to the water to keep it clear, but that’s all.
