Delivery to the UK and Ireland

Last updated 8 November 2026

TimberIN hot tubs and outdoor saunas are made in our factory in Lithuania after you order, then delivered by lorry to your address in the UK or Ireland. This page explains how delivery works, how long it takes, what to prepare before the lorry arrives and what happens on delivery day.

Delivery in short

In short: hot tubs are delivered by zone. You choose the GREEN zone (south of Leeds) or the YELLOW zone (north of Leeds, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Exeter and Plymouth) in the product configurator, and the price for your zone is shown there. Outdoor saunas and sauna and hot tub combinations are quoted from your postcode. The delivery is to the address you give us; unloading is your responsibility unless something else is agreed in writing.

How delivery works, step by step

  1. Configuration and quote. Choose your model and options. For saunas, send us your postcode and a short description of the access (photos help) and we quote the delivery to that address. The delivery is shown on the pro forma invoice before you pay anything.
  2. Made to order. Once the 50% deposit is received, your product goes into production. While it is being made, we agree the delivery date with you.
  3. Photos and balance. Before the product leaves the factory you receive photos of the finished product. When you have approved them, you pay the remaining 50%.
  4. Transport. The product is loaded and driven by lorry from Lithuania to the agreed address. We keep you informed about the delivery day.
  5. Unloading and inspection. The lorry stops at the delivery address. Check the goods on arrival and write any visible transport damage on the consignment note (CMR) straight away.

The whole order, with contract, payment and documents, is described on the purchase process page.

Lead time

The time depends on the model, the configuration and the season. As a guide, the estimated lead time is about 3–4 weeks in winter and about 5–6 weeks in summer, counted from receipt of the deposit. This is an estimate, not a guarantee: the time that applies to your order is stated in your quote and contract.

Wait until the delivery day is confirmed before you book a crane or helpers, but prepare the base in good time so the delivery does not have to be moved.

Delivery price

Hot tubs: two zones

GREEN zone: south of Leeds. YELLOW zone: north of Leeds, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Exeter and Plymouth. Pick your zone in the configurator; the price is added to your order there.

Saunas and combinations: by postcode

Outdoor saunas and sauna and hot tub combinations are quoted from your postcode, because size, weight and access differ a lot. You get the price before you order.

VAT and import: prices are shown in pounds. The quotation or invoice states the VAT and import treatment for your delivery country (UK or Ireland). Read it before you pay the deposit and ask us if anything is unclear.

Unloading, access and base

Unloading is arranged by you

Unless something else is agreed in writing, you are responsible for unloading the product from the lorry. Plan enough helpers or a machine such as a forklift, telehandler or crane. If the driver helps, you accept that help at your own risk.

Lorry access

Larger models and most saunas come on a large lorry. Check road width, surface, slopes, bends and obstacles such as cables and branches on the way to the unloading point.

Assembled or as a kit

A factory-assembled sauna needs unloading machinery on site. Where a sauna is offered as a kit, it can be unloaded by hand; we recommend a professional to build it.

Base ready

Prepare a level base that can carry the filled hot tub or the sauna before delivery day. Mark where the entry, heater and technical parts will go.

For electrically heated models and options, have a qualified electrician make the connection.

Check the goods on arrival

  1. Check the packaging and all visible surfaces before you sign the consignment note (CMR).
  2. Write any visible damage or missing parcels on the CMR and take photos or a video straight away.
  3. Tell us within 5 business days.

Damaged parts are replaced, exchanged or repaired, depending on what is most reasonable in each case. See also our returns and cancellation page.
