TimberIN Nordic Pod Duo™

From: £11,110

TimberIN Nordic Pod Duo™. Nordic Pod Duo combines a pod-shaped sauna with a hot tub in a 5400 × 2450 × 2470 mm structure, offered with spruce or Thermowood exterior choices. The taller rounded pod profile provides a different interior and architectural presence from the cylindrical Barrel Duo. This is a coordinated wellness installation: foundation, delivery, sauna heat, hot-tub heat, water treatment, drainage, chimneys, electrical equipment and future service access all need to be resolved for the confirmed build. Nordic Pod Duo is one 5,400 × 2,450 × 2,470 mm two-zone sauna in spruce or Thermowood, with optional side entrance/dressing-room plan and a braked double-axle trailer stated up to 2,000 kg. The current page links no dedicated technical sheet or heater menu, so occupancy, heated-room dimensions, benches, heater, dry/plated mass, axle loads, chimney travel arrangement and factory-delivery method must all be written into the final order.

Product Description

A pod sauna and hot tub within one fixed composition · Combined garden wellness room

TimberIN Nordic Pod Duo™: a taller rounded alternative to the Barrel Duo

A more upright sauna room joined to open-air bathing

The pod shell rises more vertically than a conventional barrel, creating useful headroom and a distinctive garden silhouette while retaining softened roof lines. Joined to the hot tub, it establishes a direct sequence from dry heat to outdoor water and can form the centrepiece of a private spa or accommodation offer. The fixed envelope helps buyers evaluate the real scale, but the two functions remain technically independent. Each heater needs safe access and clearances; the tub needs circulation, drainage and water care; the sauna needs ventilation and an appropriately sized heating package.

A long two-zone pod whose layout determines its usable hot room

Pod Duo fixes the external body at 5.4 metres and allows the entrance/dressing arrangement to change. The side-entry option can improve circulation and create a more practical dry zone, but that partition changes heated room length and therefore heater sizing. The optional trailer introduces a nominal 2,000 kg rating; without the completed empty mass and axle certificate, that number cannot establish payload or road legality.

Side entry improves flow but changes the thermal plan

A conventional end entrance preserves the most direct longitudinal bench layout. Side entry can make a long mobile sauna easier to use at events and gives a defined dressing room, while introducing another weather-facing door and reducing the hot-room length. Spruce provides a light traditional finish; Thermowood a darker heat-treated one. The double-axle chassis is sensible for a long body, but only the finished weight certificate can show whether the stated rating is sufficient after heater, glass, stones and partitions are added.

The two live extras carry most of the engineering consequence

A dressing room offers real guest value: dry changing, storage and separation from the hot room. It uses some heated bench length and adds doors and partitions. The trailer enables relocation but adds brakes, tyres, coupling, inspection, insurance and tow-vehicle constraints. The quotation must also identify secured steps, heater guard, chimney stowage and ventilation, even though they are not live add-ons. At each venue the unit needs firm levelling, safe access and complete cool-down before travel.

Additional options

  • Trailer with the double axle with brakes (total weight up to 2000 kg)
  • Entrance from the side + dressing room

Advantages: A braked double-axle trailer offers useful load margin and road stability for a longer mobile sauna while keeping the complete unit relocatable.

Only the final divided room can be timed

The outside length does not state heated cubic metres. A side-entry dressing room can substantially reduce the hot volume, while glass, insulation and the unspecified heater change warm-up again. Ask the approved drawing to show the sauna-room dimensions and heater model. Commission the finished mobile unit at realistic cold ambient temperature and include chimney setup in the operating schedule; never oversize the heater to compensate for an unverified room plan.

Coordinate the shared structure without hiding either system

Set out the complete 5400 × 2450 mm footprint together with doors, steps, fireboxes, chimneys and equipment zones. Design the base for both the building load and the concentrated mass of a filled tub. Agree whether any entrance or mobility-related option changes the final dimensions or delivery method. Route clean water, drainage and power while preserving removable access to pumps, controls and connections. Check crane or vehicle access before production and ensure guest circulation does not cross hot stove areas, particularly in commercial use.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation.
