2-person electric

TimberIN Nordic Terrace™ 160 Electric

From: £5,192

TimberIN Nordic Terrace™ 160 Electric. Nordic Terrace 160 is a compact electrically heated outdoor sauna offered in standard, rear half-moon, glass-front and combined glazing designs, with spruce or Thermowood exterior choices. The four layouts change daylight, privacy and the direction in which the room addresses the garden without requiring a large building. Select glazing and orientation together, then size the electric heater and supply for the real room and glass area rather than treating every design as thermally identical. Terrace 160 Electric is a compact fixed design in spruce or Thermowood with four forms: standard, half-moon rear, glass front, or both half-moon rear and glass front. Benches, glass entrance door, ventilation and Harvia Vega 6 kW with stones are included; roof colour and factory-built/flat-pack delivery are selectable. The linked mini-sauna sheet is image-led, so exact occupancy, 1.6 m dimension direction, height, cubic volume, glass area and weight require the final drawing.

Product Description

Compact electric heat with four glazing personalities · Made-to-order outdoor sauna

TimberIN Nordic Terrace™ 160 Electric: a Terrace 160 layout shaped by light, outlook and privacy

Four ways to decide how enclosed the sauna should feel

The standard layout offers the most contained character. A rear half-moon window introduces a focused band of light and view, while the glass-front version opens the entrance elevation much more strongly. The combined option creates the brightest and most visually connected room of the group. These are experiential and thermal differences, not decorative swaps. Spruce gives the compact shell a traditional pale finish; Thermowood makes it darker and more contemporary. Electric heating keeps the site free from fuel storage and a combustion chimney, supporting regular scheduled use.

A compact 6 kW sauna with four architectural treatments

Terrace 160 Electric is designed as a small garden sauna around an included Harvia Vega 6 kW heater. The live design choices alter the rear profile and front glazing rather than the basic heater. Because the linked drawing does not expose a reliable text table, “160” must not be expanded into invented width, depth or capacity. The accepted technical drawing needs to state exactly which dimension is 1,600 mm and how the half-moon and glass choices affect internal volume.

The half-moon and glass choices change feeling and losses more than capacity

The standard timber-ended build gives the simplest thermal envelope. A half-moon rear creates a softer internal/end-wall form and visual identity. A glass front opens the compact room to the garden and increases heat loss and privacy exposure. Combining both is the most architectural choice and should be checked carefully against internal bench clearance. Spruce is light and traditional; Thermowood darker and heat-treated. Since the 6 kW Vega is fixed, the final room and glass-equivalent volume must stay within its Harvia range.

Decision Choices currently selectable

Wood type Spruce · Thermo wood

A concise, mostly included specification

The essential sauna components—benches, door, ventilation, heater and stones—are included, reducing the risk of a misleading low base price. Roof colour is visual. The major project choice is delivery: factory assembly protects the compact shell and glass alignment but needs lifting; flat pack permits manual unloading and requires accurate, dry on-site construction. Confirm lighting, insulation, electrical controls, cable route and base points because they are not explicit live add-ons. A glass front also benefits from careful orientation away from overlooking.

What the current configurator identifies as included

Already included: (1) Benches as in pictures; (2) Entrance glass door; (3) Ventilation; (4) Electric heater Harvia Vega 6 KW with stones

Included equipment is valuable because it establishes a usable baseline. Displayed builds may contain additional systems, so the accepted quotation should repeat every included item.

Roof colour

  • Black tiles
  • Brown tiles
  • Green tiles

Advantages: Roof colour lets the sauna sit deliberately within the garden scheme without changing the room plan or bathing experience.

The 6 kW heater sets a natural limit on room and glass

No model-specific minutes are published. A 6 kW Vega can be an appropriate compact-sauna heater only when the final cubic volume and glass allowance match its manual. The full-glass version will warm differently from the standard timber front. Have the electrician design the protected supply and isolation, then commission with the intended ventilation open. If warm-up is slower than expected, check room volume, insulation and door use rather than fitting an unapproved larger heater.

Choose the view before the electrician sizes the system

Stand on the proposed base and test sightlines towards neighbours, paths and the best garden outlook. Remember that an illuminated glass-front sauna reveals more at night than it does during a daytime site visit. Once the glazing design is fixed, provide the heater supplier and qualified electrician with the final room data so output, cable, protection, controls and isolation can be specified. Prepare a level drained base, confirm delivery access, ventilation and door swing, and leave room to clean glass and maintain the exterior timber.

Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.

A nice experience ordering our outdoor sauna from TimberIN. We got a good price, waited for 12 weeks for our sauna to be prepared and it was shipped to us quickly. The process was professional and we were kept informed during its completion. Once we received the sauna, we were able to build it ourselves, although most people might need the help of a professional or a friend with good skills in wood or general building to make sure of a good result, however, it is not rocket science and the instructions were good and easy to follow. The delivery itself came on a large double pallet and was well packaged. Overall we are happy with our purchase and the service. Thanks, TimberIN!
