The TimberIN Nordic Duo hot tub suits one person or a couple wanting a moulded fibreglass shell, two facing seats and a direct choice of heating systems. The exterior timber is separate from the bathing surface: configure the appearance, interior colour and equipment around the project. To compare other two-seat models, see all 2 person hot tubs.
It is not a fixed all-inclusive spa package. The heater, cover, insulation and spa equipment must agree with the quotation and final order summary.

The technical sheet gives 940 mm in its external-dimensions line and 1,060 mm as a separate external-height figure. These should not be silently treated as the same measurement. Confirm any critical height, opening, passage or terrace interface on the final drawing for the handmade tub.
The 1,900 × 1,190 mm plan footprint describes the tub itself, not the complete installed system.

Six claddings and eight heatings give 48 combinations. To order without a heater, choose the connections for your own heater.
For the documented 6 kW heater, the UK selector offers 220 V single phase, 26 A (recommended for the UK) or 380 V three phases, 14 A; a more powerful 9, 12 or 15 kW three-phase heater is available. These options apply to the electric heater and to the hybrid. A qualified electrician must confirm and size the final connection, cable and protection for the equipment supplied and the site. These source figures do not replace the delivered unit’s instructions.
No fixed heating time is documented. Starting temperature, weather, cover, insulation and the selected heater affect the result.
Shell, cladding and colours
The moulded fibreglass shell has two facing seating areas around a central footwell, visible in the photographs and model visualisation. Massage equipment remains optional.
The UK exterior choices are six claddings: spruce, larch, Thermowood, oak, WPC black and WPC brown (wood-plastic composite). The fibreglass shell is standard; an acrylic shell (glossy, harder surface) is available for £490. The documentation does not provide a numerical performance comparison or one standard finish for these timbers; record the chosen wood and finish in the order.
Interior colours are white RAL 9001, blue RAL 5012 and grey RAL 7015 at no extra charge, or Blue Pearl, Gray Pearl and Granite for £190.
Covers and included insulation
Wooden edge and lid
The edge and wooden cover are selected together (£490), with spruce or Thermowood cladding only. The documented cover measures 1,200 × 1,910 mm, weighs 30 kg and may have 30 mm insulation; confirm the exact supplied construction.
Insulated leather lid
A UK choice at £490 with any cladding, on its own or together with the wooden edge and lid. Confirm its dimensions, construction and weight in the quotation.
Wall insulation
Listed on the UK page as included at no extra charge. Record it in the order; material and thickness are not specified in the model documentation.
Bottom insulation
Also listed at no extra charge in the UK configurator. Confirm the supplied construction rather than copying another model’s specification.
Filtration, massage, LEDs and controls
Sand filtration
Offered with a wooden enclosure documented at H800 × W700 × L600 mm. Confirm flow, electrical data and care instructions.
Two massage systems
Water hydromassage and air-bubble massage are separately selectable. Jet or outlet counts and powers are not documented for this exact configuration.
LED lighting
Two LEDs can be selected. Confirm colours, modes and suitable placement.
Smart control
Separate modules are available for each massage system, sand filtration and the electric heater. The heater module provides scheduled on/off operation; Wi-Fi coverage is required.
Confirm the control technology and compatible platforms for the supplied modules. Jets, lights or an enclosure visible in a photograph do not establish inclusion.
Steps and paddle
A wooden paddle is included. The A-type wooden steps are a separate option for £190; they are not preselected. Confirm your choice in the final order summary.
The documented movable A-type steps measure H600 × W780 × L830 mm and weigh 15 kg. Include this access area in the site plan.
Base, full footprint and connections
Provide a solid, level base without a slope. Appropriately designed compacted aggregate, timber decking or paving may be suitable depending on the ground and load.
For initial assessment, approximately 2,000 kg including water and users is a conservative planning assumption, not a calculated operating weight or guaranteed maximum. Have bearing capacity and load distribution checked for the site.
Beyond the 1,900 × 1,190 mm tub, allow for the 780 × 830 mm steps; the external heater at approximately 400 × 620 × H670 mm with chimney and clearances; a 700 × 600 mm filter enclosure; a 600 × 600 mm electrical enclosure; cover handling, connections, drainage and maintenance access.
Confirm the complete footprint and clearances before building. For emptying, the UK selector preselects a one-inch AISI 316 external water tap (£70), which you can untick, or offers the tap with a quick adapter for 12.5 or 15 mm garden hoses (£95). The chimney fence (£85) is a separate option with the wood and pellet stove heatings.
Delivery and unloading
The manufacturer reserves H1,290 × W1,400 × L1,950 mm for the main package, weighing 80 kg. A heater or spa-equipment package may add H900 × W800 × L1,200 mm and 15–50 kg. These are transport envelopes; the tub itself is slightly smaller.
The UK selector retains green- and yellow-zone delivery. It has no driver-unloading assistance option. Confirm the supplied assembly state, unloading responsibility and onward handling to the base before dispatch. Check access for the normal 18 m, 40-tonne truck; smaller-truck delivery may be possible in the London area.
Operation, care and warranty documents
The exact product file does not yet establish a detailed routine for the shell, cladding, water and equipment, frost preparation or warranty conditions. Obtain the instructions and terms for the actual heater, filter and selected accessories before delivery rather than applying another model’s routine.

What are the dimensions, capacity and weight?
The external-dimensions line states 1,900 × 1,190 × 940 mm, with 1–2 users, 1,000 litres and an 80 kg empty weight. Handmade measurements are approximate.
Why are both 940 mm and 1,060 mm heights stated?
The sheet lists 940 mm within its external dimensions and separately lists 1,060 mm external height, alongside 920 mm internal height. Confirm critical vertical measurements on the final drawing.
Which heating systems are available?
Eight: the external AISI 316 BFTS-50 22 kW wood stove; a 6 kW electric heater; the stove plus the electric heater (hybrid); the stove plus a Poolex 5 kW Wi-Fi heat pump (the sand filter is required); connections for your own heater; an external 30 kW pellet stove; a gas heater; or the Rexener PR200 bioheater. Each comes with six claddings.
What supply is needed for electric heating?

Just to say that I am delighted with my hot tub. We have used it most evenings and it has become the highlight of the day.

The hot tub we ordered is just for two, but it suits the area that we had to install it in, and it is definitely fun for two, and it looks great in respect of the major deck replacement we had to do prior to delivery.
Yes, there might be some concerns about ordering big ticket items from Eastern Europe, but we had none with the TimberIN team, the workmanship is quality and we only had one minor problem in powering up the tub, due to me being in a hurry.
I highly recommend that before you order. Please consult a qualified electrician regarding the amperage rating of your house mains power panel. We had to change the tub water heater to a lower Kilowatt rating due to the Max rating of 16 amps of our mains panel.
