A compact tub with a wooden bathing interior
TimberIN Nordic Duo™ Wood is intended for one person or a couple who want wood throughout the bathing area. The floor, walls and benches are wood, unlike a compact tub with a polypropylene lining.
The product is configurable. Timber, heater, cover, filtration, air massage, lighting, drainage, assembly and delivery are distinct decisions.

The 1,400 × 900 mm dimensions are not defined as a strictly internal or external interface. Handmade measurements may vary. Confirm critical terrace openings, access routes, heater positions and connections before production.
Two uses: unheated bathing or wood heating

The external BFTS-50 has a documented output of 22 kW. Its body is approximately 400 × 620 × H670 mm. Keeping it outside preserves the bathing area, but requires space for the body, two water connections, chimney and maintenance access beside the tub.
No electric heating is currently offered in the UK variations or add-ons. There is also no documented fixed heating time: starting temperature, weather, fuel and use of a cover affect the result.
Spruce or Thermowood
The four current combinations pair spruce or Thermowood with either the external heater or no heater. Photographs show lighter and darker examples, but the documentation does not define a standard finish or a quantified performance comparison between woods. Specify the exact timber and finish in the quotation.
Covers, filtration, air bubbles and lighting
Covers
The UK selector offers a wooden lid or an insulated leather lid. The documented wooden lid is 1,400 × 900 mm and weighs 20–30 kg. Confirm the leather lid’s exact construction and fit.
Filtration
Sand filtration with a large wooden enclosure is available. The documented enclosure is H800 × W700 × L600 mm.
Massage
Air-bubble massage is optional. Water-jet hydromassage is not offered on this product.
Lighting
The UK page offers two LEDs. Confirm their positioning and operating modes.
Other UK options are a metal chimney guard and an ash shovel and rake. Drainage choices are an external tap or a tap with a quick adapter for 12.5 or 15 mm garden hoses.
Confirm the actual filter flow and electrical specification, air-system details and LED modes for the order. Equipment shown in photographs does not establish inclusion.
Record the supplied package in the order
B-type wooden steps, benches and a paddle are grouped under “Already included”. The group is not initially selected or mandatory, so list the required items in the quotation and final order summary.
When supplied, the B-type steps measure H500 × W500 × L550 mm and weigh 15 kg. Add their footprint to the layout.
Base, equipment space and drainage
Provide a solid, horizontal surface. Properly designed compacted aggregate, timber decking or paving may be suitable for the site and load. Avoid a slope that could distort the tub over time.
Use approximately 2,000 kg including water and users as a conservative initial planning assumption, then have the base assessed for the actual configuration and ground. This is neither a calculated operating weight nor a guaranteed maximum load.
Allow more than the tub’s 1,400 × 900 mm footprint. Include steps, heater, flue, cover handling, filtration enclosure, drain and service access. The documentation also shows flexible PVC drainage 400–920 mm long with 45 mm internal and 50 mm external diameter; the final routing depends on the site.
Factory-assembled or flat-packed delivery
The UK delivery selector offers factory-assembled and flat-packed kit options for both green and yellow delivery zones. Choose after checking access from the truck to the final position.
The main package is documented at H1,300 × W1,400 × L1,950 mm and 80–100 kg. A separate spa-equipment package may reach H900 × W800 × L1,200 mm and 15–50 kg.
The UK page has no separate driver-unloading assistance choice. Confirm unloading responsibilities, access, handling and any lifting equipment before dispatch. Delivery does not by itself include movement to the final base.
Obtain the care instructions for the wooden tub
The exact product documentation does not establish a wood-care schedule, water-treatment routine, frost procedure or detailed warranty terms. Do not copy these from a tub with a synthetic shell. Obtain the instructions and conditions for the timber, heater and selected equipment before confirming the project.

Will the driver place the tub on its base?
Do not assume so. The UK selector has no separate driver-unloading service; agree unloading and final positioning before dispatch.
How long will heating take?
No fixed time is documented. Starting water temperature, wood, weather and cover use influence the result.

Apologies for not getting photos back to you sooner, it’s the start of the season here and we have had visitors the last couple of weeks. We have had the hot tub up and running for about four weeks now and are very pleased, the heater works really well. We found assemble reasonably straightforward, I would say the hardest bit is the last board. I was pleased that the boards were already drilled for the fittings. I think if you provided a a short video of key points of the assembly it would be helpful.
