Product Description
A sociable square tub for larger groups · Made-to-order outdoor hot tub
Large 8 Person Wood Fired Hot Tub – TimberIN Nordic Elite™ Square: defined corner seating around a generous two-metre interior
Square geometry changes how people share the water
A square interior creates recognisable seating positions and makes efficient use of a rectilinear terrace, particularly where the tub is aligned with paving, decking or a garden building. The two-metre internal format provides substantial water and social space, but it also carries more mass and takes more energy to heat than a compact round model. Exterior timber softens the architectural shape, while the selected heater determines where firebox access, chimney space or electrical services sit. This is therefore a complete garden feature, not simply a larger version of a small tub.
The 2 × 2 metre interior is the starting point, not the whole footprint
Nordic Elite Square is sold around a clear 2,000 × 2,000 mm internal bathing area and an eight-person use case. The current linked PDF is image-based and its numerical text is not reliably extractable, while the live product data does not publish water volume, overall height or dry weight. Those figures therefore belong in the written quotation before foundations or lifting are booked. What can be stated confidently is the inner size, square seating intention and current heater/material choices.

Three heating routes for a large thermal load
The AISI 316 wood-fired option is the direct choice for a powerful, fire-led warm-up. Hybrid heating is better for hospitality or frequent household use where electric holding and wood-fired recovery are both valuable, but two systems mean more controls, service points and electrical work. The no-heater version is only appropriate when a separate engineered heat source is already specified. Timber choice affects appearance and maintenance; it should not distract from the larger decisions about filled weight, cover handling and how often eight-person capacity will actually be used.

Why no responsible fixed heating time is published here
Without a confirmed water volume and heater output for the selected build, a number of hours would be guesswork. The general TimberIN manual’s 2–3 hour warm-weather and 4–6 hour cold-weather guidance is based on operating conditions, not on this specific square model. A large eight-person shell may need more energy than a common round tub. Ask the quotation to state water volume, heater output and expected operating assumptions; use an insulated cover during warm-up and budget for greater fuel and water-care demand than a compact family model.
Design the base and access route for the completed installation
Verify the external dimensions of the selected build, including heater, steps, covers and any service enclosure. The supporting base must be sized for the complete filled load and remain level across the square footprint. Delivery may require lifting equipment or a route wider than a standard side gate, so agree unloading responsibility before production. Larger water volume also makes an insulated cover, effective filtration and a written water-care routine more valuable. Locate controls and maintenance points where they remain reachable after landscaping or cladding is complete.
Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.
