Product Description
Straight lines, corner seating and flexible heat · Made-to-order outdoor hot tub
Square Wood Fired Hot Tub – TimberIN Nordic Square™ (160–220 cm): a square moulded tub sized for planned terraces
A geometric shell with several very different installation paths
The square format is attractive when a tub must sit neatly within an architectural garden layout, and its corners give bathers clear individual positions. Beneath that shared form, however, the heater options create meaningfully different products. A heater inside the tub or wall reduces the external equipment zone but affects seating and service access. An external stove preserves the interior while extending the footprint. Electric and hybrid packages introduce power, controls and circulation equipment. The no-heater choice is intended for projects with a separately designed thermal solution, not an incomplete assumption.
What the square party-tub sheet confirms—and what it leaves to the drawing
Nordic Square covers four live internal sizes, but the linked technical sheet describes the broad Micro Pool Party Tub family rather than publishing a separate line for every square variation. It confirms the scale: approximately 2,000–4,000 litres, 10–16 nominal bathers, 200–300 kg dry and 1,030 mm inner height. Because seating and heater geometry vary, exact water volume, outside footprint and practical occupancy must be taken from the chosen build drawing.
| Live inner sizes | 1,600 × 1,600; 1,800 × 1,800; 2,000 × 2,000; 2,200 × 2,200 mm |
|---|---|
| Family nominal occupancy | 10–16 bathers; practical number depends on selected size, benches and heater |
| Family water range | Approximately 2,000–4,000 litres |
| Family dry-weight range | Approximately 200–300 kg before separate equipment |
| Inner height | Approximately 1,030 mm |
| Bench dimensions | Approximately 350 mm wide and 330 mm high |
| Bottom-insulation effect | Adds approximately 80 mm to tub height |
| Electric heater reference | 6 kW; thermostat 0–45°C; connection shown as 230 V 32 A or 400 V 16 A |
Square size and heater layout create very different projects
The smallest shell can serve a family terrace; the largest is a party-scale water installation. External wood heat keeps all corners available but increases the operating footprint. Snorkel/internal heat compresses the site plan but takes a corner and creates a protected hot zone. Electric-only or hybrid systems add thermostat control and powered circulation, while no-heater builds require a separately approved source. Closed benches can reduce water volume; open benches preserve under-seat access. A sunken, unclad option should be chosen only with a ventilated and removable service enclosure.

A party-size tub must be scheduled, not guessed
The general wood-fired range of 2–3 hours warm and 4–6 hours cold cannot be assumed for every 2,000–4,000-litre square build. Heater output, actual volume, cover quality and starting temperature must be written into the operating plan. A 6 kW electric element is best understood as holding or slow scheduled heat at this scale, not rapid cold-fill recovery. Larger groups also create a water-care load: allow time for filtration, testing and safe cool-down as well as heating.
Freeze the complete outline before cutting decking
Do not size a terrace opening from the nominal inner dimension. Obtain the exterior drawing for the selected shell, cladding and heater arrangement, then allow access to connections and equipment that may need future service. Square tubs require a level base across the whole footprint; any twist can affect fit and water line. Confirm lifting or delivery access, filled weight and drainage before landscaping. Where the tub is recessed, include ventilation and removable panels so pumps, heaters and pipework are not trapped behind permanent finishes.
Before production: TimberIN products are individually made, so published measurements are approximate. Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation. Photographs may show optional equipment.

Hi, we have finally moved into our house & hot tub is amazing! Attached photo (feel free to use!)
Good morning Albert
Attached are two photo’s of the Hot Tub in its final position. It is now fully operational and getting used at the weekends by me and the neighbors. Everybody very happy and I am pretty sure that I can assure that it is the mostly westerly hot tub in Europe.
