Product Description
A smaller Snorkel tub with an internal 18 kW stove
Nordic Compact Snorkel combines a fibreglass interior with timber cladding and an internal wood stove. It suits a smaller bathing group and a tighter shell footprint. The guard separates the stove from users, but the stove still occupies part of the bathing circle; the quoted 3–4-person capacity is not a guarantee of equal comfort for four adults.

Measurements are approximate for a handmade product. Check the accepted drawing for any critical access or base dimension. Compared with the larger Snorkel Compact, this model reduces internal diameter from 1,800 to 1,550 mm and water volume from approximately 1,500 to 1,200 litres.
Three heatings, all with the internal wood stove
The source identifies the internal BFTVM stove at approximately 18 kW, in AISI 316 stainless steel. The chimney is approximately 2,000 mm long. Follow the supplied stove instructions for operation, minimum water level and clearances.
Choose one of three heatings, all with this internal stove:
- Internal wood-fired stove – the base price.
- Hybrid: internal wood stove + 6 kW electric heater (Wi-Fi compatible) – heat up with wood, then keep the temperature with electricity. The 6 kW heater runs on 220 V single phase (26 A) or 380 V three phases (14 A); a more powerful 9, 12 or 15 kW three-phase heater is available.
- Hybrid: internal wood stove + Poolex Spawer O’Spa 5 kW Wi-Fi heat pump – heat up with wood; the heat pump keeps the temperature and can also cool the water in summer. The sand filter is required with the heat pump and is added automatically.
For the electric hybrid, a qualified electrician should confirm the supply and wiring.
Six claddings and three shell colours
Choose spruce, larch, Thermowood, oak, WPC black or WPC brown (wood-plastic composite) exterior cladding. Inside, choose white RAL 9001, blue RAL 5012 or grey RAL 7015 at no extra charge. These six claddings and three heatings form the current UK variation set.
Included equipment, lid, stairs and insulation
The UK group lists a wooden heater fence with drinks holder and a mixing paddle as included. Confirm these items in the accepted order. The lid is a separate option: a wooden round edge with a wooden lid (spruce or Thermowood cladding only) or an insulated leather lid. The wooden lid is approximately 1,770 mm in diameter and 40 kg; the source describes approximately 30 mm insulation where specified. Confirm the exact lid construction and plan safe handling.
Wall and bottom insulation is included at no extra charge. Stairs are a separate option: a basic 3-stage ladder, or type B, A or C stairs. Type A steps measure approximately 830 × 780 × 600 mm high.
Selectable spa equipment
Massage and light
Air massage, hydromassage and either two or four LEDs can be added. Confirm exact jets and lighting modes for the final build.
Filtration
The UK selector offers sand filtration with a wooden box; it is required with the heat-pump hybrid and is added automatically. Confirm the pump, flow and connections; the source refers to approximately one-inch/25 mm AISI 316 filter connections. No UV option is listed.
Smart SPA
Wi-Fi modules are selectable for air massage, water massage, filtration and electric heating. The relevant equipment must also be ordered.
Metal accessories
An ash shovel, chimney guard and heater cover are separate choices. Check the compatible set for the supplied stove.
Base and access
Plan a level base for approximately 150 kg empty weight plus 1,200 litres of water, users and accessories. The final build and site conditions determine the required support. Allow extra space for steps, the cover, filtration and safe stove operation.
For emptying, the UK selector lists an optional external water tap, or a tap with a quick adapter for a garden hose (12.5 mm and 15 mm). Confirm the actual fittings and discharge route.
Indicative transport dimensions are 1,950 mm high × 1,300 mm wide × 1,800 mm long, at approximately 150 kg. If stairs are ordered, their separate package is approximately 900 × 800 × 1,000 mm and 15–50 kg. Obtain the final packing details before arranging access or handling.
Delivery and maintenance
Confirm the delivery address, vehicle access, unloading arrangements and movement to the final base before ordering. The UK selector has no separate driver-unloading option; do not assume delivery includes final positioning.
UK delivery charges follow the displayed zones. Care for exterior timber with appropriate oil at least annually according to finish and exposure. Follow the supplied water, filtration, heater and frost-protection instructions. The FR source states a 24-month warranty, subject to the applicable conditions and correct installation and care.
