Thermowood Hot Tub – TimberIN Nordic™ Deluxe (Wood-Fired, 4–8 Person). Nordic Deluxe is a round Thermowood-clad hot tub offered in four inner diameters with electric, internal, external, snorkel-style or no-heater routes. It is designed for buyers who want a strongly timber-led appearance without being locked into one heating method. Select the diameter around regular occupancy, then choose the heater by balancing bathing room, outside footprint, firebox access, available power and the way the tub will be used through winter. Its four documented diameters run from 4–6 people/1,400 litres to 10–14 people/2,700 litres, all about 1,050 mm high and 200–300 kg dry. Electric, external, internal/snorkel and no-heater choices are live; 360° benches apply with external/electric heat and 270° benches with an internal heater. Air massage, filtration, LEDs, smart controls and several covers/drains are selectable.

Thermowood Hot Tub – TimberIN Nordic™ Deluxe (Wood-Fired, 4–8 Person): natural warmth with four diameters and multiple heater layouts

Thermowood gives the exterior its identity; the heater defines the experience

Heat-treated timber brings a warm, stable-looking surface and a rich tone that suits both traditional and contemporary gardens. It will still weather outdoors and needs care appropriate to the supplied finish, so colour should not be treated as permanent without maintenance. Inside that timber envelope, the chosen heater arrangement changes everyday use. An external stove leaves more room in the water, an internal unit keeps the installation tight, and electric support can make frequent or scheduled bathing easier where the correct supply is available.

Deluxe diameter, volume and bench comparison

Nordic Deluxe retains the warmth of a timber-led round tub while giving enough numerical detail to choose rationally. Moving from 1,600 to 2,200 mm almost doubles the published water volume, increases dry weight by about 100 kg and changes the realistic social scale. The technical sheet also makes the heater trade-off visible: electric or external heat allows a complete 360-degree bench, whereas an internal stove reduces that seating circle to 270 degrees.

Choose the bench circle you want to live with

An external stove is the natural match when social seating and clear water space are priorities, but it needs room beside the tub and connecting pipes. The internal/snorkel option keeps the garden footprint tight and sacrifices a quarter of the bench circle. Electric-only supports planned use without fire, though 6 kW is a gentle output for 1,800–2,700 litres. The no-heater version is for a pre-designed alternative. Select 1,600 or 1,800 mm for regular family efficiency; 2,000 or 2,200 mm only when larger-group use justifies the water, cover and fuel burden.

A Deluxe specification should still be disciplined

The included stairs, timber benches, round edge and paddle already create the traditional experience. For frequent use, put insulation, cover and filtration ahead of cosmetic additions. Air massage adds movement with less pipework than hydromassage, which is not listed on this product’s current SPA menu. Four LEDs suit the 1,800–2,200 mm sizes; two are sufficient for a subtler effect. The leather cover is limited to the external-stove layout, so internal-heater buyers should confirm the split-lid arrangement and safe access.

Heating demand rises sharply with diameter

The general manual’s 2–3 hour warm-season and 4–6 hour cold-season guidance is most credible only when the heater, fuel and cover suit the selected volume. A 2,200 mm Deluxe carries about 1,300 litres more than the 1,600 mm model. That difference affects first warm-up, reheating, filtration and drain time. If fast spontaneous use matters, resist oversizing; if electric-only heat is selected, plan it as a scheduled system and have the circuit designed from the final 6 kW documentation.

Choose the configuration in the order you will live with it

First establish the number of regular bathers and the maximum full footprint available. Next decide whether lighting a fire is part of the pleasure or whether electric holding is important for the household. Only then add massage, filtration or lighting equipment that supports the intended routine. Prepare a base for the filled weight, maintain access to pipework and controls, and keep the timber clear of standing water. A fitted insulated cover is particularly valuable on larger diameters because it reduces heat loss and protects the bathing water between uses.

Confirm the selected live variation, final dimensions, included equipment, service requirements, delivery method and any critical tolerances in the accepted written quotation.     I hope all is well with you.

    I thought you would like to see how we installed the wood-burning hot-tub (see enclosed photos). We have had a lot of fun using it with family and friends and at night we have fairy lights to add to the magic. I know that you like to have photos for your web-page, and can send more specific photos if required.
