Hi Albertas, as promised, I’ve attached some photos of our Hot Tub. We’re not on Facebook or the other social media platforms, but we’re happy for you to use any you might want for your website. It arrived Friday morning 4th April and we were in the water and enjoying it on Saturday evening. We’ve been in it every night since! A big thank you to you and your team. The specification is exactly as planned, and the workmanship is excellent. You might welcome some feedback on a couple of relatively minor issues, which I hope you will find helpful. We only received 4 pictures of the hot tub, but in all honesty, these weren’t really enough for us to confirm that we would be happy with the product before making the final payment. We trusted the process and made payment, but it would have been better if we could have seen images of the liner and also inside the electric cupboard and the insulati…

So happy with our new hot tub. @timberinhottubs built and delivered it. We've had it a week now, used it every night. The good: the build is fantastic, the log burner heats up the water quickly and you don't even need to use electricity. The jets are great. The lighting looks fab. It's comfortable for 4, you can get 6 in but to be fair we got it for us so there's rarely going to be times there's more than two in there. The wood is a lovely colour. We've emptied every time we've used it but it came with a sand filter so we probably don't need to. The tub cleans well. The insulation is amazing and keeps the water warm for hours, probably all day and night if we wanted it to. You don't have to use much wood to get the water hot either. We are loving our hot tub. All in all we are very happy with it.

Product Description

A round family hot tub with the stove built in

TimberIN Nordic Core™ is a round fibreglass hot tub for families and small groups. Its stove is built into one side of the tub, so there is no separate heater to place beside it – tub and firebox arrive as one neat unit that fits easily on a patio or deck.

Two sizes

SizeInner diameterOuter diameterBathersWater
18001,800 mm2,000 mm4–6 peopleabout 1,300 litres
20002,030 mm2,250 mm6–8 peopleabout 1,500 litres

The 1800 is the easy fit for a smaller garden; the 2000 gives a bigger group more room to stretch out.

Choose your heating

Every Core has an integrated stove, and both sizes and every cladding come with the same four heating options:

  • Wood-fired – the integrated AISI 316 stainless steel stove, built into the side of the tub.
  • Hybrid with electric – the wood stove plus a 6 kW electric heater on a normal single-phase supply (9, 12 or 15 kW on three-phase for faster heating): heat up quickly with the fire, then hold the temperature without feeding it.
  • Hybrid with a heat pump – the wood stove plus a 5 kW Wi-Fi heat pump that can also cool the water in summer. The sand filtration system is required with the heat pump and is added automatically.
  • Pellet – an integrated 30 kW AISI 316 pellet stove you control from your phone.

Cladding and finish

The outside comes in spruce, larch, Thermowood, oak, or low-maintenance WPC in black or brown. Inside, choose a fibreglass shell in white, blue or grey, a pearl or granite finish, or upgrade to a glossy acrylic shell. Wall and bottom insulation are included at no extra charge.

Make it yours

Pick a fibreglass lid, an insulated leather lid, or a wooden round edge with wooden lid (Spruce or Thermowood only), and A or C type wooden steps. Add air-bubble massage, hydromassage, sand filtration in a wooden cover box, and two or four LEDs. Wi-Fi smart kits let you run the massage, filter and electric heater from your phone. A drinks shelf, chimney guard and wooden paddle come with every tub.

Planning your space

Allow for the outer diameter plus room for the steps, the chimney and easy access to the firebox and drain. A full tub weighs well over a tonne, so it needs a firm, level base sized for that load. We are happy to help you choose the right size and heating for your garden.

Frequently asked questions

Count the people who will usually bathe together: the 1800 seats 4–6, the 2000 seats 6–8. Then check that the outer diameter, with steps and chimney, fits your space and delivery route.

The stove sits inside one side of the tub enclosure, so you do not need a separate place for a heater next to the tub. You feed it from the outside, and the chimney rises from the same side.

Four, all with an integrated stove: the integrated wood-fired stove, a hybrid of the wood stove with a 6 kW electric heater (9–15 kW on three-phase), a hybrid of the wood stove with a heat pump (sand filter required), or an integrated 30 kW pellet stove.

The standard 6 kW heater in the hybrid runs on single-phase (220 V, 26 A) or three-phase (380 V, 14 A) on its own circuit fitted by an electrician. The 9, 12 and 15 kW versions need three-phase.

WPC in black or brown needs the least maintenance. Thermowood and larch weather well, spruce is the classic choice, and oak gives the richest look.

The fibreglass lid is the standard choice. The insulated leather lid keeps the heat in best and is light to lift. The wooden round edge with wooden lid is available with Spruce or Thermowood cladding.

Yes. Wall and bottom insulation are included at no extra charge.

Steps are chosen in the configurator: A type or C type wooden steps.

Just something to be aware of.The other minor point relates to the sand filter and UV-C. both of them came with European plug fittings that required changing. I would have thought that a UK specification would come with a UK plug. Again, this is not a huge point, but it was inconvenient to have to change these.Apart from those minor niggles, everything was great. So, once again, a big thank you to you and your team.Best of luck and continued success in the future.

We’re still very happy with the tub. It all works well. The only thing is that we’re still trying to find a bit out how much chlorine we need to add to the water to keep it clear, but that’s all.

Hi AlbertSee attached photo. For feedback if your putting on website most people in UK will be most concerned about transferring money to a foreign company which is why I have discussed below -Being from the UK I was obviously worried about paying such a large amount to a foreign company, I carried out a fair amount of research and decided I would take the risk and proceed. I can honestly say it was a good decision, the hot tub was slightly delayed due to covid 19 impact but if I emailed for an update I got a response within 24 hours. The quality of the hot tub is very good even down to the stainless grate and Ash pan. I found Transferwise to be the best method to pay and reduce fees. One piece of advice, don't under estimate the weight, it took us some time to get the hot tub into position in the back garden but we'll worth it.Andrew

Wow...well worth the wait though, she’s a beauty..with a high build quality. We had a few teething problems, which were quickly resolved by Albert and his team, via email and phone.I do agree, the UV filter connectors aren’t the best, but I have found a work round for that so no worries. One thing I would say is be prepared for the delivery..it will take more than the recommended 3 -4 men. A Hoist genie and pallet truck with 8 people is more like it.We are very pleased with the product TimberIN have provided, and we are currently enjoying wood burning hot tubbing at its best.!Thank you
